switching toons on same account

every time i switch between my main and alt on the same account, the position of the bars, genies, etc. gets reset and are not in the place i left them. this never happened before so what is the deal with this?

Sounds like your game folder is read only. You may also want to take ownership of the folder.

i just started re-installing pwi because beside what i mentioned already, other things suddenly arent working and even when i used the verify button to fix it, it didnt do anything.

Well, you would have to use Verify three times to expect an actual fix. Also, don't forget that you must exclude the client folders from all antivirus software scans.
