Duskblades(wtf) and charms

Okay so how do you even fight Duskblades? i can antistun plenty yet i can still be locked for almost the whole fight until my antistuns go off and then can be stunned/sleep/paralyzed forever. Im not liking the fact that we now have double defence charms. Okay my class is a veno right? well when fighting duskblades i have to cast 1skill at a time against a class that can lock me down at any instant. While im casting skill after skill these double defence charms are blocking 66% of the damage of every hit. Im using double block physical charms, but why arent they working? because these duskblades can hit 20times with 1 skill. Some classes having instant multihit skills while others do not make these double defence charms completely unfair because they are a huge advantage to classes with multihit skills. the two with the most noticable multi hit skills are sins and dusblades which are also 2 of the strongest. Not every class can be a sin and have tidal to block some of these db skills. Duskblades also have to many skills that can buy them a bunch of time such as that shadow walk skill and the 2 stealths that they can use while they are being attacked that allow them to run really fast. They litterally have almost everything. They have great survival,great damage,Multihitskills, great speed(can catch even demon venos no problem), and soooooooooo much control. How do i with no paralyze resist fight this? Thankyou.

Problem is that if you remove those charms, classes which you find troublesome (+/- good dps like sins or duskblades) will be only slightly disadvantaged while mages will get even greater nerf due to inability to protect themselves somehow anymore. I suggest remove magic def charms only and keep physical def ones 0

While I have said it several times, even crappy DB will wreck havoc due how broken the class is, the one weakness they got is lack of sprints. Well I should say comparable sprints to other melee classes. Silence in the thread lasts 5s, takes a spark, stealths you but also silences you, granted demon has freeze proc for next motionless move in the next 5s iirc. The real problem you face is how you arent killing DB unless you are in melee range/Demon ironwood proc + pet. This is because the ludicrously strong ranged damage passive caps at 8m and going trought that passive isnt happening. So it "doesnt really matter" if the DB can or cant keep up to you, neither is dying if DB cant close the gap.
Ps. The devs are ****(the recent buff), I cant understand how this class isnt gamebreaking no matter what gear ppl run with on China.0 -

It's a normal practice in MMOs, they make one class gamebreaking, then another, then nerf some, then enhance and so on and so on. This is needed to make you invest into new char and possibly enjoy. Else no one will play them. All you have to do is deal with whatever devs prepare for players and wait patiently till they eventually benefit your class. Or jump from one toon to another depending on what's on trend right now.0 -

as a veno i know slow channel is frustrating, especially with def charms blocking all our damage. but the zooming thunder apoth helps a LOT. instant channel for 5 seconds. you can easily get off several powerful skills quickly. however you waist an apoth doing that, if you don't have purify or a genie to counter your kinda stuck after. i normally hit then run anyway xD so this method works for me.0

noone ever said, that this game is balanced in a 1v1 scenarioo .... still everyone seems to think it is, and we getting this threads over and over0

I agree the game isnt meant to be balanced 1v1 but id like to see the class that can win against db.
Only one that might stand a chance is sin, but im not even sure on that since half dbs cc can get through tidal.

^ it's not really a problem of 1v1, "1v1" scenarios might happen in mass pvp aswell if you are an arcane class, you get zoned from your team, or you chase someone to get the kill, and if you are facing someone that is using defense charms, you are at that point useless
sins will never beat duskblades, but that's not even because of db CCs, but db buff blocks 40% of sins damage kek0 -

You are forgetting apoth and genies are around SPECIFICALLY as a counter balance to other things in the game. you build a genie to help with things your class's weakness (be it defense or speed or to simply amps to better your damage for faster kiss) apoth is exactly the same. you carry them around to have various options in a fight. you shouldn't have to use them all the time, just enough to kill a stubborn target. if you need it to get past every charm... i got sad news for you <.<

Im starting to wonder if you read what i wrote. Ive never had someone lecture me for 3 paragraphs about unrelated topics that i apparently misunderstand and forgot about when we are essentially in agreement. And idk how to take it.
