Advanced Grinding Machine -- people digging for hours

can someone so do something about all these people standing there digging for hours when others want to do their **** so they can move on. I saw two people there this morning have been constantly digging for over two hours making it hard for others to get their stuff done and out of the way.

On Morai/Dawnglory this is often solved by some strong toon dragging Jewelscalen over and letting it's AOE wipe those clickscript drones. But clickscript digging the grinder isn't the worst of the botting issues.

Easiest fix for this has been proposed multiple times: On having the Perfect Fruit and 3 Perfect Flesh, automatically remove the items and grant the coin without the need for manually turning in the quest at mr Jones. Kinda like completing one of the kill-quests, those grant money as soon as the 10th kill is made.
The game itself is capable of sorting this out with just a small tweak to the quest. No GM intervention needed.

I don't see why Jolly Old Jones should go. Like it has been mentioned there is a solution, for punica (or whatever it's called) to disappear after successfully digging 3 times. This way they can't dig for a long time.

Report them and have more people to do that. On Etherblade server. back when it was Archosaur we had 2 or 3 kind of those people that were doing the same thing as you are saying in this thread. People reported them and after 1 or 2 days they've gone.
I dont think Jolly Old Jones should be taken out. The newbiess and even some of the not so newbiess will be let without any metod of making money and they will have to grind for hours and I dont see many people liking to do that. But a change to the Jolly Old Jones quests is welcomed.

It seems this person on Etherblade, I think the people on Etherblade are talking about the same person, who has a chain of Mystics that end with Chibi or so on? Anyways, I saw one poor girl who had to wait 10 mins to get her 3 digs and another to get another 3 digs. This person bots and bots for hours I try to dig and leave and do other things on my other toons but hours go by when i check to see it's free, that same person is there botting. They are using something that makes it hard for anyone to dig even if we spam click lol. Anyways I will keep reporting this person and I hope everyone else will.. BTW my venos will use their pets to block them but now he's sitting there holding down shift while spam digging. Who does that!!!?

Clickscripts can simulate a shift-click as easily as a standard one. Not hard to do that using autohotkey or something similar. Never bothered to myself - some of the times I play are a deadzone on Dawnglory, noone using the grinder means I can easily dig 100 surplus m'self while running TT or something on screen 2...

Dragging a boss over to kill those toons is probably the only way you'll temp-disable them. If a GM whines about someone dragging a boss in the safezone, all the better - while you have the attention of such a mythical being you can point out the TOS violating botcrew at the grinder.

Just make the Grinding Machine be able to handle multiple diggers at once. That will forever solve the problem with the people that collects tons of those. Cant be hard to recode the grinding machine. Same with all dig spots.

Another sugguestion is that it could be made to where once someone has gotten their 3 Perfect Flesh they are unable to dig the Grinding Machine any further and must turn in their quest.

Making it "undiggable" when you already have 3 perfect flesh in inventory would indeed be a good solution.
I'm pretty sure some bots are only here to prevent other people to get their money, because they don't need that much items themselves.

I have the perfect solution, actually have a GM that does his job and is on the game at all times like most games and checking this spot regularly...problem solved. Bye bye scammy players.

The perfect and easy solution was said by people above you. Make it imposible to dig after the 3 flesh and you dont need a GM to check advance grinding machine every 5 minutes. Cause that a GM would need to do to stop them.
