Gift of the Riptide Skillbook Missing

So with this expansion, i've done the main quest in primal world for the shifting sky boundary. I have continued to finish my questline up to the part when i get the "Gift of the Riptide" skill book. I have not recieved the book even after i've finished all of the quests available. I'm not too sure if the issue is because i am unable to continue the questline or not, because the NPC for the main shifting sky boundary quest, "Fleet Commander Corcoran", has a grey flag over his head even after accepting the small reward for reaching shifting sky 1. I am also curious if anyone else has this issue and is it possible for me to get the book at all.

    I have the same problem. Done every quests (shifting sky II) but no skill book.

    We cannot continue the shifting sky boundary questline for Lv2 before the phase is completed (press M while in primal and check the %)​​

    oh, my bad i meant to say shifting sky 1. Sorry.

    If I'm thinking of the right NPC, I encountered a similar issue a couple of days ago. I handed in the quest for reaching Shifting Sky 1 on two characters, but one of them was unable to continue. I managed to fix the issue by relogging. Give that a shot and see if that helps.

    @zengetsu200 Make sure you are NOT in tiger/panda form (it matters!) and visit NPC Fleet Commander Corcoran. He is located in one of the ships in the middle of Primal World map.
    Let me know if it helps.

    oh...well...yeaaaaa. I just did what you told me to do and you were right. The problem was that i was in panda form when i was doing the quests. Thanks for the tip it helped me get what i was missing! i guess other barbs can look at this post as well and they can fix the problems themselves.

    I play barb and faced this problem too. Solution was found by accident.

    Oh hey xD I didn't think of that. I had the problem on a barb too, which is probably why it fixed itself when I relogged (obviously it kicked me out of panda form doing that). Good to know!
