Stuck at entering pw screen

so the thing is i can play on all my toons except my main on the new TT server. i can get to the character selection screen, select the toon then the game just gets stuck at entering pw screen. I can move the mouse though. when i switch to another application then back to game it crashes. And this is only happening with my main toon.

    Same problem i'm having, and it's very frustrating. Can log all my alts on the same account, apart from the one i play.

    i have same problem..i can't get log in to my main..all alt's in same account i can log in easily in few seconds...

    When the client crashes trying to load the character, that is typically because the toon is in a bugged location. (there's a few of these around the world)

    To fix the issue, when it is on the loading screen after the character screen, hold down the W key. Even though you cannot see it, your toon is already appearing in the server. This will help to move your toon off of the buggy location.
    It may take a few tries to get the toon out of the area.

    If that fails, then you will need to submit a ticket and they can manually edit the location code in your characters save data to move it off the bugged location. (Or you could a few years ago when PWE had a functional support team anyhow.)​​

    I am having the same problem, I log in an go through all the steps, but when my main char gets to the screen the is black and says "Entering PerfectWorld", I hear the games backgroung effects but it stays their and wont go any further, all my other char on the account can log in with out a problem but my main. Main name is (Weaponeze).

    Ditto here. Except this happens not only to my main, but to my fav alt too. i tried to get in all day yesterday and so far for 8 hours today. i'll try the "w" thingy and hope that helps. as last resort, i'll put in another ticket but i've never had much luck w/ management getting off their asses to help me w/ anything.

    i can log in now..and play my main...moral of story is never log off any char in leggy places...put char in somewhat villege where not much players around...

    Also, do not log out whilst standing on NPC's head. normal-42.gif

    Same problem here, odd it seems to be effecting the main character and not the alts tho. Off to crash 50 more times trying to enter game...... :(

    I didn't actually log out the game just crashed right after completing Vile Turox Quest at Bamboo Village. I wasn't on Village Elders head but standing a bit in front of him, no other players were around so laggy location is ruled out.

    Just managed to log in, now just west of Dawnglory so guessing some-one in Admin move character, if so THANK YOU to that person :)
