Quick Guide to Flowsilver Palace: Judgement Mode (New mechanics explained)

Judgement Mode increases the HP and adds a new mechanic on top of the pre-existing one to all bosses (idk about first boss tho, i joined when they were killing it, but nobody made a comment about it being any different), so here's the new mechanics added to the bosses:
Drake:
Spawns same circles and mobs as before, with the new added "Math Challenge" (patent pending)
So basically, you have to pull the boss away from it's pool just like everyone usually does because a vortex that reels you in (like the stormbringer skill) spawns in the middle of the pool, along with 8 mobs, 4 on each side that have points for the Math Challenge, a ranged class person needs to be standing at the stairs to be in range to kill all the mobs for Math Challenge. Note: the mobs wont respawn until you complete the Math Challenge successfully or you fail it. It looks something like this:
....................Door to Toad
..........................¦......¦
....+1 Mob........________.......+2 Mob
......................./.............\
+1 Mob......../.................\.......+2 Mob

The Math Challenge works like this: there will be a message on common chat saying how many points you need to collect in 30 seconds, for example 8+7; if you fail, the boss will heal. For this 8+7 example, you need to collect 15 points, so one way of doing it is killing both "+2" mobs (4 points) and three "+1" mobs (3 points), that gives you a total of 7 points, then you kill a "x2" mob and you get 14 points total, then you kill the last +1 mob and that completes the 15 points. in the end it looks like this:
2 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 7
7 x 2 = 14
14 + 1 = 15
or:
((2+2+1+1+1) x 2) + 1 = 15
Please note that the x2 only affects the points you accumulated before you use it, and doesnt affect the points you get after you used the x2.
Also note that in order to get anything higher than 16 you need to kill both "+2" mobs first, then both "x2" and then as many "+1" as needed. For example to get 18 you need to kill in this order: +2 +2 x2 x2 +1 +1 so what you get is this:
2 + 2 = 4
4 x 2 = 8
8 x 2 = 16
16 + 1 + 1 = 18
or:
(((2+2)x2)x2)+1+1 = 18
In the run i did the minimum requested was 5+5 and the maximum was 8+9, i dont know the whole range yet.
It's best if the person doing Math Challenge doesnt attack Drake at all so that the mini-Drakes dont spawn on him/her, but all squadmates should keep an eye to save the Mathematician (patent pending too) from the freeze if needed.
Someone died on the next corridor and said that the Indiana Jones rock spawned before he even went inside but i wasnt paying attention. Next up after said corridor is...
Toad:
On top of the pre-existing Axe mechanic now he spawns two new things, Silver Coins and Gold Coins.
Silver Coins: they will turn ppl into small toads (like the chests in this room do sometimes) and need to be killed. I think they turn the first person who attacked them into a toad like 5 secs after you hit it, but not sure.
Gold coins: when they spawn there will be a small countdown in common chat, after 3 seconds they will explode dealing very high physical damage, it can one-shot many ppl but it's tankable, it delt 10k dmg on my wiz with 42k p.def and 61 def Lvs, the good thing is that the AoE range of the explosion seems to be very small, you have to be almost right on top of it.
Something that worked for me was to set AoE (DB, vortex, etc) so that the Silver coins take damage as soon as they spawn and turn you into a toad and not someone else, continuous AoE doesnt get interrupted when you get turned into a toad, so it's fine.
The really bi***y part is when Toad happens to do its AoE stun and spawn Gold coins at the same time, or throw the axe at the same person that gets the Gold coin, i recommend saving AD for this situation (or Faith so u can GTFO ), then pray it wont happen to you again while AD is in cooldown or youre so fu***d
I dont know if the Gold coin AoE can be resisted using expel tho, i will experiment next time
Setting AoE seems to be a double-edged weapon, you attack all Silver coins at the same time so it means they die faster and you protect your squadmates from the "toadification" but for it to be effective everyone will need to stand relatively close which could end up in several ppl dying from Gold coins if they dont know what they're doing.
You thought that was a nightmare, well now get ready for the bi*** queen...
Blossom:
On top of her usual "Disperse" "Together" "Interrupt" bs now she spawns two kinds of plants, i think Guardian and Envy, but lets just call them white and yellow.
White plants come in pairs, when they spawn you have to stand next to them or you'll die, make sure you get the "turtle" buff (same icon as BB, invoke, etc), that way you'll know youre protected. I just stand inside the circle of one of the plants, making sure im between both plants.
Yellow plants explode just a few seconds after they spawn, so you need to move away quickly. Please note that they will still spawn on you even if you die, just like the mobs and circles of Drake boss and the axes of Toad. She loves spawning the yellow plant on ppl who just tele'd to Toad room making them go boom again, such a bi*** xD
And she is a giant bi*** also because some times when she tells you to stand together she spawns a yellow flower right in the middle of you all, so you all have to run for your life, but together xD
Up next comes the Five Kings which died pretty fast, idk if good squad or they got nerfed. After committing a five-way regicide get ready to face the Tyrant Prince...
Mushi
Did you ever do Hidden Dragon's Den? If so, remember the fight vs Burial Inferno where u had to attack a beacon to make a small BB or RB and then stand inside it? Well, this is pretty much the same. He will do all the usual stuff, but now he will also do a very powerful fire attack, in order to protect from it you need to attack one of the crystals he spawns and then get inside the barrier to get an anti-fire buff, just like the genie skill Soul of Fire or the buff u get when standing next to the ice when fighting Locen in AEU.
There's 4 possible spots for the crystal to spawn and it will take like 1-2 hits to activate it, and then you have to move fast and stand inside the barrier, but be careful of your position because remember that Mushi has a knockback skill that can push you into the flames and kill you.
With everything that's going on it's easy to forget to spark, so watch your chi. He will also go into a rampage as usual. This is the easiest fight of them all i think, pretty simple.
When he dies, a new path will open with blue arrows guiding your way, follow them into the room where Miss Charm Raper awaits, also known as...
Belle Leun, the Mad Princess
When you enter the room, she will be floating around like a ghost, she's unable to be targeted while she's doing this. Then she'll go to the middle and stand over her pedestal, that's when she becomes targetable and you can start the fight, she wont aggro until you attack, so you can take your time to get in possition right in the middle under her pedestal.
This fight has three stages:
Stage One: When the fight starts, she will spawn several immune mobs around the room, dont even touch them, and she will constantly spawn mobs in the middle area of the room that have a very fast AoE and some debuffs, the channeling reduce debuff is nasty. There's two types of mobs, one kind shoots ice and is weak to magic dmg and the other kind shoots fire and it's weak to physical dmg. I recommend that the cleric sets BB and everyone with continuous AoEs set them on a place where they can hit many of the mobs weak to their type of dmg at the same time and move as needed, from there on, it goes pretty smoothly until she's at around 1/4 HP when she will become immune and a mini-boss will spawn.
Stage Two: I've seen only two mini-bosses so far, i'll add details about the others if there is any when i have the info.
One of them is a mini-Mushi that will do the exact same things as the original but has only 6.5M HP.
The other one is a fire-rock Golem thing called Skyscream, you'd probably recognize him from Hidden Dragon's Den if you ever did it (he even gives you a title you could only get from HDD when you kill it, if you were fast enough in the run). He's pretty tricky because he will do AoE stun interrupting BB and other AoEs and the mobs will keep spawning, tho they dont spawn that often so it's possible to keep up.
Stage Three: When the mini-boss dies the princess will become vulnerable again and two new messages will appear on common chat and in the middle of your screen:
-One says something about a veil that's about to fall, so in 5 secs everyone will get a debuff just like the duskblade skill that increases the cooldown of the first two skills that you use by 2-3 minutes, so just make sure that the first 2 skills that you use when u get the debuff are not that important but be careful because it's literally ANY skill (spark, buffs, heals, attacks, transformation skills, genie skills), or just wait it out as it doesnt last for too long.
-Another one says something like if the person who is her target attacks, she will heall but it's basically the Sin skill Death Link, so the person who is her target will receive a portion of the dmg she takes, not much tho, didnt give us problems. In fact, i might be wrong, we didnt notice any effect at all xD
Also, during the whole fight there might be a random message in the middle of your screen warning you about something that will reel you in and kill you, it's a very small red nuema-looking mob called Ghostchill Demon that spawns right on top of someone, so run around and use the pedestal or one of the 4 torches around it to prevent getting rilled into your death . Btw, if you die here you can tele back to this room using the NPC at the entrance.
And that's it! As for the rewards, you will get the same Silvery Flow quest to kill Toad, Blossom and Mushi that gives u FS coins, the NPCs after Drake, Toad, Blossom and Mushi that give u more coins, and on top of that, every time you enter one of the boss' rooms you'll get a quest that gives you Star Chart stuffs when you kill said boss. Oh, and Belle Leun will give you 2 Nebula Dust Orbs and another 5 FS coins for a total of 25 over the whole run.
I will add screenshots and made corrections if needed later.

Good job on the guide! The evil plant was called Envy I think. The rest looks good though and I like the ASCII art (though including real images is pretty easy).0

Mad Princes.
1I dont understand why you said:''When you enter the room, she will be floating around like a ghost and then go to the middle, that's when the fight starts, use this time to get in possition right in the middle under her pedestal.'' I ve been there 30 minutes ago. She just float above our head and move to her pedestal without doing a damn thing. We didnt attack her and she didnt attack us. Maybe some of your squad got scared when she was flying above your head and attack her. In fact we waited 5 minutes for someone to be back and she still didnt atk. Plus you can even get close to her since she is like Blossom. Doesnt get aggro if you dont atack her even if you are close to her.
The mini boss that spawn is actually Mushi with 6mil HP and he will give ppl chi that needs to be sparked ASAP. Same as in deicide mode.
When she use Dark Curtain dont use skills since the debuff will run off pretty quick.
About Blossom I have a problem here.
''White plants come in pairs, when they spawn you have to stand next to them or you'll die, make sure you get the "turtle" buff (same icon as BB, invoke, etc), that way you'll know youre protected. I just stand inside the circle of one of the plants, making sure im between both plants.''
What can you do if in this time you get disperse yourself and have to be near this white plants? Also even if I was hugging the white plants I still died.
Rest of bosses easy. Drake , Toad and Mushi easy once you learn the mechanics.0 -
Quick vid tutorial for faction- made before reading this- but nice to see that it lines up pretty closely

Added a few notes and corrections, thanks for input guys
And nice vid! Altho, i dont think that fighting Drake at the pool is a good idea, like you said, AoEs could hit the Math Challenge mobs but also it would be more complicated for squishier ppl to run away from the circles, and dont you get dmg reduction if you fight standing in the water? I might be wrong tho.0 -
Ghostchill demon will spawn on the person farthest away from the boss. (includes the entrance to the instance)0
-
Tips and tricks:
Bathill Demon:
- If someone ports/leaps to where the boss spawns before the trap is opened, you can start your attack with an interrupt skill. This prevents him from self-buffing with the HP buff.
- Some sins can kill this one fast by using death link, then suiciding into the fire pool. Can oneshot this boss with high soulforce.
Azoth:
- Most people don't bother with math. Just make sure everyone has full chi, noone's afk, mass spark and HF/Amp/Shatters/Glacial and any other debuffs, then take the beasty down in 30 seconds. Usually a piece of cake. They really ought to have given this boss an immunity skill like the UCH dragons which the math puzzle removes...
Frog:
- As per usual, his axe throw goes on the 2nd highest aggro player.
- It is possible to kill frog fast, but it's tricky and requires VERY high damage. To do so, don't spawn him, have everyone stand where he spawns. Mass spark, spawn, debuff and splatter him. Has to be done in under 8 seconds, which doesn't give much time for debuffs.
- Gold coins deal physical damage. Expel will work to save you in a pinch. Very high physical resist also helps - you can just take the hit in that case.
Succubus:
- Most squads fail from lack of organizing at Succu. Plan ahead, know who to follow or where to go when the bomb plant comes on a "stand together". "Go to the entrance to the room" is a good plan if all else fails.
- The "blossom flood" attack which the Guardian Blossoms defend against, can be interrupted rather easily. Simply use an interrupt just as the animation starts to appear and Blossom won't be able to do that oneshot. The BM skill Smack really helps - knife throw should work too.
- If you have trouble returning to your squad, wait in the corridor leading to her room where it makes a u-turn. You'll be safe there, and still get the kill.
Mushi:
- The new oneshot aoe is fire-based. Expel will not help. It cannot be interrupted.
- When he rampages, he'll sometimes -still- use his shortrange physical AOE (front cone). This can oneshot multiple party members. Have immunities ready or stay behind him when this occurs (an attentive veno can purge his buffs rightaway to prevent this).
Belle:
- Sins can oneshot this boss if they have high soulforce. Stand above her platform, where a strange sword npc will spawn once she's attacked (it's on the far side of the room from where you enter). Deaden/Spark/Chi/Deathlink, then have your party attack the boss. Amplify Damage and Heavens Flame increase the damage the boss takes from Deathlink.
- The Ghostchill Demons spawn on the person furthest away from the boss. You can use this to lure them away from the party. An archer or arcane character on the far side of the boss can cause those things to always spawn behind her. Parking an alt at the entrance also works if that alt doesn't need the kill.... forget your fears. And want no more...
