How Dawnglory can work for everyone?

So really people from harshlands want the merge. It is exciting to have more competition and such. In my opinion there is only one big problem we have which is well known and pwi is acting like they can't do anything to fix it.

"We are working on implementing multiple time slots". You shouldn't really need to "work" on that. HL had morai times by mistake once before and you changed the time of the event with a simple maint that wasn't any longer than a normal maint.

My suggestion rather than multiple time slots which that specifically would be hard to implement but alternating tw/nw/etc times would be nice and work for everyone. We didn't ask for the merge and we are already getting suffixed, you mean to tell me you cant give HL like one week....maybe two weeks outta the month that the majority of us can actually show up to events.

Then all the EU people that did still show for events when on HL could still go. I don't have a problem with EU times but any american who attends school or works a 9-5 will not make events at 1-4pm their time obviously. But either way I myself could show to EU events every blue moon so not that big of a deal for me i guess.

It's just sad this is the ONE problem causing a lot of HL players to jump ship already and you guys seem to be doing nothing to solve it. You claimed you couldn't merge the servers for years. Get it done make your customers happy and I know for the Morai players 2 less weeks of events if they couldn't show would be a bummer too but if you really want new competition and such rather than maybe 1/6th of HL actually joining you in events and stuff we need this figured out. How it stands you guys will basically get EU people that were on HL and few americans the times work for majority will not be able to join the fights.

Any other suggestions on how dawnglory can work for everyone?

    From a business standpoint it would appear they made the decision based on which it would affect more. EU or East. Since HL doesn't have as large a population as Morai, its better to upset the minority than the majority.

    Yeah but also from a business standpoint you have huge I mean massive cash shoppers on HL you will lose. Morai farms most of their stuff a few cs'ers but prices of stuff such as TT and such shows HL people were "more lazy" and cash shopped a lot of their stuff more or less. Of course HL had farmers but I mean for example ribbons are like close to 1 mil on HL, found em for like 400k-500k on morai. Found gold mats you can't even find on HL catshops anymore. That would tell me that they have about two times more supply of stuff like that than HL. Morai is even known as a farming server come on xD.

    Alternating event times, make everyone happy.

    Make 3 weeks or 2 weeks outta the month normal EU server times and one or two weeks on maint put the times on usa east times. Morai is keeping their times, keeping their PvE, not getting suffixed I mean they are losing literally nothing here while HL will be suffixed and will have their whole event times changed completely and can't open pvp anymore. If they can't give up one week so maybe some HL people can stick around then idk what to say really.

    There is maint weekly anyways, it would not be hard to change the times like mentioned above HL was stuck with EU times for like a week or so at one point and they changed it back to USA east times with one maint that was regular length not even any longer than a normal one.

    Also I think it would be foolish to judge any servers population until update is done. Anytime something drastic like this or a big update happens hundreds of people come back to HL seen it happen with the last update then people get maxed or bored and slowly die out. Something like this is new and fun and will attract people to come back but not if they can't ever make events lol

    It's nice you're thinking of a way to help out EU and HL players, gomiamiheat, but I'm not sure if they'll do that or not. It would be nice for everyone to get a chance to do events on our new server (considering none of us had any choice in the matter and we're all just trying to adapt) but I'm not sure if that'll work. Switching times every other week or so may cause some sort of mix up or something (I could be wrong; this is just a curious thought). They did mention they might try to run events twice, but not sure if that'll happen either. But, maybe they will. One problem is though we as a whole server may not get the chance to play with each other if they do that. Unless EU players stay up to do events with HL or HL players try to do events at EU time it's just going to be separation. But I guess in a sense it'll already be separation if they leave event times as they are. If they could make event times at a neutral time (one that's between EU and maybe close to EST) then maybe we could all try to do events together and server won't be separated. But if that won't work either, our best bet would be them running events twice.

    I don't care about the events. Much rather have the 60ms I used to have in game compared to this dismal 600-700 on the new server I had no choice about. Didn't spend all this money on a eastern server for no reason. Think it is time to find a new game with customer service that thinks a little.

    I think it would be easier to allow accounts to change server.
    A lot of EU players would move to the Downglory server that are playing on one of the other 3 while the HL players can go to a server with their time zone.
    This way the number of players will stay in balance on the servers as well.

    We lost PVP server
    We lost names, faction names, logos
    We lost timezones
    We lost our friends due to all this ****.

    Not going to charge a single penny on game, not only me - almost all cash shoppers (from my and my allied factions) have decided this. You better fix the event times on DawnGlory within a month PWI, if not we'll all follow our friends who already left.

    As a HL player I want a server transfer. There is no other reasonable solution imo. I want to play with other players that play in the same time zone as me with event times that work for me. Harshlands was a dead server, I was one of the people that wanted a merge but not with a freaking EU server. I can't even tell there was a merge besides the increased ping and cat shops. I'm still playing with the same small population i was before because the majority of the servers population is asleep when us american harshlanders are online.

    As I said in a previous post of mine in another thread. It's like living with a room mate that works nights and you work days. You won't see each other except when ones heading out the door and the other is heading in or in this case when we're logging off to go to bed the morai people are heading to work cause it's morning for them. Then we wake up head to work get home from work log on the game and they are logging off to go to bed.
