Buying items in catshops

This may have been brought up before, but I wasn't able to find it. (Feel free to close this if it's already here somewhere)

I wish there was a way to buy things in a catshop without already having one of said item. Maybe some kind of menu or something you can search through and put the item in. Sometimes you want to buy things but it kind of defeats the point if to buy one you need to have one. For example, I am eventually going to want to buy Garnet Gems for my daggers. It would be very helpful if I could set up a shop to buy 2 gems at the price I'd be willing to pay. Unfortunately I can't without borrowing one from someone else to set the shop up.

    It's been suggested before but I'm pretty sure it's been well over a year since it last came up anyways.


    Would be extremely helpful though and I totally support this. I always found it silly that what you can buy is restricted by what you already have as that kinda defeats the purpose of buying for a rather large amount of items.
