Event gold code gone?

I made a new account yesterday to try out a seeker and I when I tried to redeem the event gold code - SFGKJKgc - it said it was expired as well as the platinum charm code that comes with the limited hair fashion.

I was wondering why these were quietly taken away and if there is a new code for those or similar things now?

    It was taken down because people abused the code to get large amounts of Event Gold Tickets to sell.
