ARC Dreamchaser Kit - Server Selection

First of all: welcome sparkiesoft and condolences.

Since you're assigned to PWI and ARC, here's the problem:

ARC Redeem Key functionality seems to be buggish from the start, as it has the same problem as the previous redeem system, more specifically, to some accounts the available server where they have characters created are not showed therefore unable to redeem.

For example on one account i can see only server Morai (even thought i want the gift on Arch Server, or at least HL), and on another account i can see only Archonsaur and Morai (althought i prefer it for HL)

On a personal note please make the posts a little less cluttered, meaning:
"The existing code systems for each game will continue to exist through this beta, though we will also be testing our new, unified code system during the beta.

During the initial phase of the launch, it will only be possible to redeem these new codes via the client by clicking the "Redeem Key" button:"

I had to read it twice to understand that you basically weren't referring to the existing webbrowser redeem key (linked above), but to whatever development stage ARC is in. Suffice to say,not all players (and i can safely assume it's actually the majority of the pwi community) are using ARC, or are interested in ARC and follow up on ARC specific updates, moreover since ARC isn't up to date with PWI news (on that part also your facebook page seems to gather dust).

P.S. If the current webbased redeem system isn't working anymore why don't u just disable the page? (same for DQ Page)

    I'm having the same issue, I can see my server, but the character I want to claim it on isn't showing up.

    i have same problem. i can redeem the pack but the character i want to get is not showing it in arc. so i choose the character that on the list. but i dont want on that char QQ

    Guys, submit a ticket so that they are aware of the issue and can collect data to resolve it.

    Posting here is not the same as sending in a trouble ticket.

    Actually, give it a shot now as it should be working. If you still get the issue, reply to this thread and I'll escalate the issue once more.

    nope, still not working. i can pm u a screenshot if it helps f:strive (the ticket is sent and replied already , the resume being: wait for it, coming soon a fix, keep the code for when it works....my input: *cough* if we dont disable it by that time *cough*)

    Ya, go ahead and pm me the screenshot. It was working earlier, so maybe something went down. Either way, go ahead and send it and I'll let the appropriate people know tomorrow when they get in.

    Yeah, not working for me either. Only 4/6 chars show up on RT Server

    Yea, still not showing up, I see 2 of my 3 chars on HT, but not the one I want to redeem it on.

    edit: I just noticed something when I was going through my Core, the char I want to redeem it on is not listed there either.

    Were you using the redeem key on the PWI site or in ARC?

    Because it won't work if you try to redeem it on the PWI site.

    Nope-tried in PWI and created character in WoI. Rebooted ARC. Re-downloaded ARC. States "no character". Working on it myself before I submit ticket-i.e creating new character here instead of sending to the toon I created a few hours ago in PWE WoI so it is not just PWI related.

    well my problem is that it wont even show the server i am playing the most aka archosaur. it shows me just raging tides and moraib:surrender . and if i have a feeling they will fix the problem when those codes are not redeemable anymore , isnt that my luck eh?

    As for the characters/servers not showing up, our team is aware of it and we're working on a fix.

    There's no expiration date for the codes as of yet. This is subject to change of course, but for now there is no time limit or expiration on them.

    if the codes are not having an expiration date then why does it say that they wont last forever and to redeem the codes now?

    That's stated for if/when we do decide to add an expiration date later down the road. As I've said though, there is no expiration date at this time, but that can change once we iron out all of the redemption issues players are having.

    How long ago did you create the character? It usually takes a couple of days for the sites/Arc to update the information.

    Funny how the pack which has beneficial stuff for new characters can't be redeem by new characters because Arc tells me my character doesn't exist

    This character is now beyond the dreamchaser, so I made a new veno to toss it on, and got her up to like 40 overnight, and realized. It sure would have been nice to get a free permanent flyer and mount on Crash... lol. I ran offers for like a week to get his crappy flyer and he is still mountless.

    For some reason, ARC immediately detected the new char, but still hasn't detected my main.

    It's still being worked on. No ETA as of yet.

    Update: Actually, just got a status update that says it's been fixed. Go ahead and give it a try.

    I seem to be having a similar problem. I created a character yesterday and have been trying to redeem the code but it says I have no characters. To test it out, I created a second character and that one showed up within minutes of creation. I went further and created a third and fourth character...neither of which showed up. The only difference from the one that showed and the three that didn't is that the one that showed is a male character. The female characters aren't showing even though I'm using one of them to post this. I really want to redeem that code on this character, not the male character as I will be deleting him. I only created him to get past the bridge quest in the new start area since males always seem to be non-existent when it comes to that quest. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
