Why does everyone hate hybrid builds?

r8r boots with a single 0.05 makes up for the drop of TT99 int bonus
r8r legs makes you loose 0.05 int when dropping the g15 pants. Due to 0.1 int bonus from having 3 pieces of r8r you will gain a total 0.05 int.
Right. The set bonus. Thanx xD0 -

These days, I just get questions and a bunch of duel requests. xD
Least it's moving off the min-maxing and on to a bit more respect. b:thanks
Time won't wake/make you wiser, but it will definitely wound you.

Even *** aps bm ,
sometimes people tell you when they see you wearing claws and aps gear as main gear you must be fail ,
even if you have noproblems in pve (with pulling ,tank.....),
(even if i need to use pots sometimes or have more charm ticks then other bms )
But i have another question someone tried aps bm with blade ?
and is there any chance to change my r8 weapon actually i have poleblade
thx for the answers0 -
Yuuniee - Dreamweaver wrote: »One big mistake, you can't use the best aps gear for barb into sin
R8r is the currently the best aps gear for sin, and it's much easier to get double int on the sin r8r chest than getting triple int on g16 dagger. With a total of int x3 on the sin r8r chest, boot, and legging, sin can has 5 aps with zerk.
I think people forget that r8r with 5aps r9 is novelty gear for a sin. The average cost alone would put you in +11-12 aps gear which allows you to solo almost everything in game that doesnt have an anti aps buff. It's a waste of time unless you are going for the acheivement rather than efficiency, because it IS NOT an efficiant use of coin. Only if you plan to use that set in PvP all the time can you get the bang for your buck. For barbs, r9rr allows them to lessen the amount of gears they need to refine and be at high APS. Which makes barb the BEST farming class, not for speed, but the most versitility, at the lowest cost.0 -

Currently my sin's aps set is all +10, 4 soc DoT's (though, the tradeable helm and pants have primevals) with +12 r9rr daggers. It's enough to solo 3-3 with no charm or hpfood comfortably, within around 25-35 minutes. Obviously once in awhile e.g beast purge I need to eat but generally I just tab out and watch youtube until the boss dies. However, you get to the point where your aps set can only do so much damage and you wonder "what if I was 5.0 again." This is the point I'm at now, although war avatars and nuema positions help alleviate wanting to farm faster. Either way, 5.0 r9rr is considering to be the top damage you can possibly get, and for us farmers who gain all their gears through farming, that's quite a better incentive than putting +11 and +12 on aps gear. Also, unless you pk, +10 is more than enough to solo TT efficiently, lower refines are fine as well although you may need a charm and food.0 -
I love my hybrid cleric build b:dirty0

Yuuniee - Dreamweaver wrote: »I know it's not efficient use of coins, that's why I've stopped investing onto my sin as you can see in game. I don't quite agree with the most versatile part. Aps sin has it's weakness which is the anti-aps buff. I believe aps barb has their weakness too. It's not the best farming class, if you're farming at a slower pace. Time is a big factor to be considered of in farming. Best farming is when you use minimum resources to maximize your income. I don't know about the cost comparison in gears. But this doesn't seem like a best idea in a long term farming. As the fact says it all, aps sins over numbered aps barb in population.
Because there is little incentive to play a barb. It's expensive and long just to level one. On top of that, why would you r9 a farming toon in most cases? It's the best farming class because it has the most versitility at the lowest price. Int is cheap for claw/fist and you dont have to get r8. That being said, a sin will farm fast off the bat, but put some money into a barb main, and there is not reason not to make him APS as well, especially if you aren't pulling cata.0 -

I just ran a FWS with a LA+4 armor wizard, with +10 2nd cast Warsoul Wep +59 attack levels. The wiz was an alt, and first attempt on that character for the instance.
Did ok.... I give credit to the player for understanding when and how to be aggressive, he never actually died. However, his damage was questionable.... Base is obviously meh, but he had the extra dex for crits.
How did he do VS mobs and boss? It's too difficult to tell, it was a team instance and there really wasn't a slacker in the group. The sin was R9rr+3. The archer was Full T3 with Bow+10. Cleric was good. BM was R9rr wep. I'm barb full r9rr+7 immac cits.
So with our full squad it was difficult to tell if the build was letting him down. I'm damn sure LA was a better hybrid choice over HA, that's just **** and takes a **** load of money into the gears to make up for.
Overall was his effort of going hybrid LA worth it? For an alt, maybe. For a squad PvE, maybe. For 1v1 PvP, probably not. For mass PvP, probably not.
PvP I have equal gears in mind (With their appropriate build)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
