Demon and chi?

Just curious; as a sage archer with Awaken learned I have little problem with chi except when I die a lot in a badly balanced NW instance. Was wondering how Demon archers are doing with their chi in mass pvp?

    I never have a problem with chi but I do have a high magic cloud eruption genie.

    Edit: Though I feel I should add I actually dont' use cloud eruption much either. It is mostly helpful if I do find myself using WoG a bit too often and I anticipate that I'd need more chi, I can use it.

    If you got chi problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but a chi ain one b:chuckle

    But yeah I used to have rely on cloud eruption which sucked but after awaken it wasnt as much of an issue, but I still needed CE, which is why transitioning to a faith based genie was a hard move, till I replaced '1' from autoattack to Take Aim (insta cast) which I spam in mass pvp in between fail QSs etc. It gives a respectable amount of chi and haven't had chi problems since.

    I hit cloud eruption every now and then as an afterthought, but I tend to leave it if I'm in the middle of a non-pushover fight to save energy for other skills. It's rare I find myself in need of chi I don't have.

    on a serious note, I personally have no problem with chi due to master li, awaken, sage lightning strike, and spamming take aim. Was wondering about chi for Demons, since going demon also means forfeiting 25 chi a hit from sage QS

    We have no problems with chi. In fact when I play a sage archer I find the lack of taunt much more annoying.

    No, neither needs cloud eruption. It's mostly a matter of chi management, if you don't die a lot. If you die a lot, I don't think it matters.

    Well if I never die then most of the time my chi bar is full :D Unless I'm spamming barrage, but there's no reason to do that in NW....

    When I die in NW chi bar is at 150

    When an OP squad sweepts thru either I can expect to die 2-3 times every 4-5 minutes, which is too fast for master li/awaken to catch up, which leaves me unable to barrage while immune and leaves me with only 1 WoG to use

    I have played both sage and demon archers, granted I been too lazy to get my celestial skills on my sage archer. But no, demon doesnt struggle with chi, even on TW scenario if you arent a "complete 1shot" there. Only difference I really notice between paths on chi in TW is how I need to be smarter bout my WoGs on demon than on sage, which doesnt really ever run out of chi.

    I do have to say I have kinda changed my opinion between sage/demon, I`ll never change from sage to demon on my archer though. I dont feel like spending 200m on books when I got every sage skill out there, granted nothing feels like demon QS proc with purge.

    Let me correct myself: I'm not out of chi, I don't have as much as I'd like to have. As for barraging, I only barrage when a. there's a giant clump of people gathered around, b. I'm barraging spawn in a crystal battle or c. there's a group of people trying to spawn kill and they're all really close to one another.

    So I tried sunday's NW with as few master li's as I could manage and it went by just fine even though I spammed a lot of BV on tougher people, so I guess I'll be fine with switching to demon when I have a bit more coin saved up.

    I just ignore them lol. Happens to myself sometimes too when there is op squads, and i'm left alone, but whatever really, the battle is lost anwyay if the enemy control your spawn xD.

    and for chi problems. Never really seem to be an issue in either tw, nw or pk.

    You know I don't even have to spawn kill to get those messages. I would be tab killing my way across the map and I'd get random PMs from people I don't know complaining that I killed them in a PVP event.....O_o. I mean, hi, this is a pvp event, so yes, I killed you, I don't see what I did wrong?

    I don't usually find too many at spawn to barrage when they are losing that bad...it's usually entering a one sided fight where I get to barrage the spawn rushers.
