So when I read the news thread about the new update hitting tonight during maintenance, it says they would be previewing new content in the coming days up towards the update. No new content has been previewed to my knowledge. Its not on here or facebook, I can't check twitter because I don't want to make an account for something I'll never use.

I've come to expect this sort of behavior out of the PWI staff, say you'll do something and then not get it done after playing for 4yrs. I was kinda excited to see the new content that I haven't already learned about via the playerbase.

yeah i was checking the site multiple times a day since the first announcement. how foolish of me, should have known better :c not many seem to care either.

I looked at the list and just laughed.

Title System:
Earn titles within the game that will reward you with a variety of buffs.
Interesting, but don't we already have Morai titles and Meridian buffs?

Attendance System:
Earn rewards just for playing. Consecutive days played will result in better rewards.
Already here, they are likely just adding more rings/rewards.

New Event:
A Legendary Phoenix has been spotted and is reportedly carrying some rare loot.
Hopefully they will have actually fixed it this time around.

Perfect Match:
An in game social networking system to help you connect with new friends or partners to aid you in combat.
Personally, it sounds like an Arc plug, but could be what that new thing that popped up in our friends list is for. Finally a squad search tool?

Nation Wars' Territories:
Now reduced down to 128 territories but still retaining the new maps from the last update
Hopefully this will finally fix it to a workable system

Commission Shop:
A new shop system that will allow you to browse items on sale from anywhere in the world.
Sounds like they're just making the Auction House mobile in the Boutique.

Optimization Changes
I can only hope that this means actual DX9 support rather than the odd setup they have now.

New Quests
We've seen these already. Here's hoping they actually get the bugs fixed.

And more!... Stuff will be broken once again because their quality control sucks. As always, we would be happier if the dev's bothered to spend time fixing the existing bugs rather than bringing us new ones.

not sure if it was a translation error but on the german site they finally announced this update too and it kinda says that you can see all items that are being sold on the map. like a shop search tool. that would be GG to the market :P but i think its just lack of knowledge in the eu office or just an error cause they also said that the territory map (!) will be reduced to 128.

Yes yes i was looking for this previews too, but its like this management dont rly care about posts, and if they fixing bugs glitches its ok if they dont have time for being on forums, or facebook...but thats not rly the situation i have a feeling the next post will be "The content update is delayed...please be patience while we find someone who knows how to do this..." and no offense to anyone...i just noticed some things like the anniversary, i remeber 4th anni...but there is nothing to remember about this one..5th annyversary, except everyone got 5 mounts...i mean i had 10 anyways...and thats all we got, and x2, but there is x2 all the time oh no sorry...there is a 20 minute quest where u get 2 holys not doing the other one too, iv got 3 times the last gate with open one so i stoped doing it, well, anyways i hope there will be an update, and we will get something new to do on 100+ except the bh100 b:chuckle

The 128 is correct, but its the NW map it says here too on the news page, and its a good move, the map is too big, will be better with more fight and pressure with smaller map

Are you talking about the GT icon?
That has nothing to do with pwi. That can be disabled somewhere in configs.pck
GT is gametalk which is the chinese version of vent/teamspeak3/mumble

As for everything else, I'm more or less sure it's there on pwcn without the need of Arc or whatever it is you're thinking about.

I've seen the new features on pwcn.
I don't know a lick of chinese so unless I tear apart the client and start throwing stuff into google translate, I have no idea what each menu does.

I've been a bit busy so unless the patch is majorly delayed, I'll stay quiet for now.
I don't have enough info or substance to start a new thread about the content update.

This is the thread.

It looks like that blog (in the links) leaks a lot of information/screenshots/pictures about upcoming items and features of the game. It's worth bookmarking it.

The new shop is basically a combination of the AH and catshop. You can create a shop like a catshop but you don't have to be online for it. You can browse the shops in a big list.

Of course to do this requires a time-limited boutique item (big surprise there). Here's the text about it:

Introduction of Consignment Shop:

Shop Introduction: The Consignment Shop is different from the vendor shop. Players can open their own consignment shop at NPC, "PW Consignment", by using item "Dragon Oath", which can be bought in the Boutique. Each player can only have one consignment shop open, and the shop type is set when the it is opened.

Setting: You can sell and purchase items after creating the shop. Each shop can sell/purchase 20 kinds of items, and the total amount of transactions can't exceed the remaining space of the store. You must have enough money to purchase items. The shop duration is decided by item, "Dragon Oath" (7days /30days), and when the shop expires you will have 7 days to manage the remaining items and coin in the shop. After 7 days, both will be given back to you via the mail system. (If your mail box is full, the items will disappear.)

Features: The cap on transaction amounts for the consignment shop is higher than that of vendor shops or the auction house. The cap price of one item or one stack of items can reach 4 billion. You can put 10,000 Notes in a shop. When your items are sold, the money will go to your shop store. If the money you withdraw is more than 10 million, it will be transferred into Notes automatically. (Please pay attention to your bag when you manage your shop.)

Also here's some info on the new attendance system. I'll try to find the actual rewards later.

Check In System
PW now has its new Check-In system, which is very convenient and quite rewarding.

Check In
Click [Check-In] in the event interface to get your mark for the day.

Fill Check
The days that you didn't check-in will be marked as "absent". You can change it to "present" by using "Re-sign Order";
You can only re-sign for the days of the current month, however you can't apply the "Re-sign Order" to the last day of any month.
A "Re-sign Order" can be obtained in various events, so please pay attention to the broadcasts in-game and on the official website.

Rewards
There are 4 kinds of rewards: Daily Attendance Reward, Monthly Attendance Reward, Annual Attendance Reward and Full Attendance Reward

Daily Attendance Reward: Complete the daily check-in so you can get EXP and Spirit as a reward.

Monthly Attendance Reward: Check-in for all the days of the current month to get a Monthly Attendance Reward.
The Monthly Attendance Reward will be received in the next month, and you can only qualify for the reward based on the previous month's attendance.

Annual Attendance Reward: If your "absent" days are less than 4 days for every month of the year, you can get the Annual Attendance Reward.
It can be received in January of the next year.

Full Attendance Reward: If you check-in every day for the whole year, you can get the Full Attendance Reward ("Re-sign Orders" can be used)
The Full Attendance Reward will be assigned to you with the Annual Attendance Reward.

Attendance
Check-ins can be done at any time of the day. A full year is from January 1st to December 31st.
Please click "Check Record" to make sure you checked in for the correct date.
One "Re-sign Order" can only modify one "absent", but there is no limit to number of uses.
You cannot sign in during a Nation War.

This is a different attendance system that doesn't use the teacher.

i have a feeling the new shop system isnt as cool as it looks. you might have to keep your computer on.

by the way...am i the only one that finds it ironic how there isnt even a maintenance notification the night before the big update? last 3 weeks when we had just a restart, there was a note..

Actually thats kind of what this thing is promoting, you can go offline and still have your shop up, so I wanna leave my shop up and sell things while i go on a trip or something, unexpected things rise up all the time, something could happen and this ONLY increases the chance of upsets. They shouldn't have the 7 day system at all it should be infinite.

P.S this is also just another PWE scam for money.
