Okay, so i was looking at another post and the people attempting to help kept asking for trace routes for the servers. I went ahead and did Pings and trace routes for both update servers.

    So according to that, I'm connecting PERFECTLY to the update servers. So why am i getting this?

    problem.png

    I get this on every computer i've tried to play the game on in teh last 4 days. I sent in a ticket, with a screenshot of this very error, but have yet to receive any response at all.

    This is keeping me from updating, verifying the files, and playing. I finally(After about 7 hours of continuous tries( and errors)) managed to get the manual updates to work properly. In the last Nearly 5 years of playing this game, i've never had any problems like this.

    Please first restart your computer and network hardware and try again a little bit later before trying anything else.This is important! You may have to be on a Windows Admin account, or have Run as Admin access to be able to download, install, update, and run the game. If on Windows Vista or 7/8, you may have to change the level of your UAC settings or turn them off temporarily.

    At your own risk, you may have to disable your antivirus, firewall, and other security software temporarily while you download, install, update, login to, and play the game. Sometimes the security software will block it or throttle it, no matter what you try or even if you try to add exceptions for the game files in your security software.

    You may also have to disable, shut down, uninstall, or disable any: torrent, keyboard/mouse, web browser toolbars, video/screen capture, gamepad/input device, multimedia, Instant Messaging, voice over IP, web browser games, other games software applications before downloading, installing, updating, logging into, and playing the game. Basically shut down all non-essential programs.

    You may also need to check or change your network settings,Make sure that your router has port 29000 open for PWI and for the PWI patcher. Your router's manufacturer's website should have the instructions on how to do this. The game does NOT support a dial-up or slow connection.

    There could be local internet hiccups in your area. Please restart your PC and networking gear and try again later. You can check by using the map here: http://www.akamai.com/html/technology/dataviz1.html

    If you need more help you can get in touch with PWE Admin @ http://techsupport.perfectworld.com/forumdisplay.php?f=351 don't forget to include the acronym of your game (PWI- Perfect World International).

    The only thing i have not done Multiple times is checking the router port, but i don't have access to that myself. i'll have to ask my mom's boyfriend once they get home :/, but everything else I've tried several times :s

    edit: Why does it keep changing my avatar >_<? no matter how many times i change it back to Earthen it'll keep changing it to a random one e.e;

    Edit2: Well, i had him check it, and all ports are open, including 29000. As for posting a thread on the tech support forum, i tried that already a few days ago. No response yet at all.
