Where would I start this quest?

"- You can learn Apothocary 9, however the quest to collect "a herb in Hell" doesn't show in the log" Quoted by Krisnda

Already tried searching, no specific details.

    You can't learn apo level 9.

    You can't learn apo level 9, so your question have no reason to be. (maybe it will be change in the future, but they never say in advance what they will add)

    Lvl 9 requires lvl 105, whether or not the quest was actually attainable.

    It also begs the question of why would you need level 9. There aren't any apothecary items to make that require it, except for atk/def charms.

    Higher than lvl 8 atk charms would be nice, but lvl 16 weapons (s3 nirv, r9) can't equip any atk charms.

    If you want higher def charms, you can do Lunar Trophy mode, and trade any bronze, silver, or gold medals you get for 66% dmg reduction ones. (lvl 8 is 50% reduction, think lvl 9 can make similar ones to LGTM)

    I just confirmed this with the devs. There is a specific rumour that you need to activate on the Duke, after that the system message will tell you where to go. I got my lvl 9 like that, not going to share any more specifics.

    you cannot learn level 9 apothecary in our version. the source of the quote you refer to is wrong. someone got excited over a dead-end quest that has been in game for ages, and i already 'corrected' that person in same thread. but no one reads page '#8434'. the wrong claim is still on the first page. that is why this rumor is so persistent. and of course because of trolls who spread this false claim. just like that troll above me. no dev, no gm, no mod, nor any player has confirmed apothecary level 9!

    the level 9 defense charms you might have seen in some cat-shops, (which made some believe this rumor is true) are made from lunar trophy mode medals, just like BurnWhenIWiz said.
