Something New About Crashes Related To NW

I think this may be a new problem, perhaps an old problem not reported yet, at least I have not heard anything about it anyway.

I crashed after the NW tonight. I had a couple crashes during it too. But after is when I had the time to pay attention to what was going on on my PC. I crashed several times after wards(often before I was even able to leave the spot where I spawned in)and sent in the error reports because I was so fed up with it.

But something I noticed is that even though I got far away from the high traffic area in Arch where everyone was spawning back into the mainland and I was in high performance mode is that my PC was still bogged down. This game bogging down on me like that is very peculiar as I my PC tears this game up and eats it for breakfast.

So I opened my program manager and discovered I had 7, yes SEVEN clients running. Not in the applications tab, but in the processes tab. These client instances were residual left over from previous crashes.

I noticed there was a crash, the first one i had during NW where I could not log back in, it would not let me in for a good 5 minutes(yes I was using force log, several times in fact), this is likely because I had a client running still from the crash.

I did not when I started NW have any clients open but the one I was playing. I did this for performance purposes. It was entirely intentional to only be running one single client. The funny thing is how afterwards, I had as many clients running as I had crashes. I began with only one.

    This is a hypothesis but...

Maybe the clients didn't have time to close . So when first one crashed you open a new one.

Then it crash and you open a new one. And so on. If they did not close then your memory usage would have been flying through the sky.

The logging thinghy is server side i think, as it happened to me :P

It says a lot about your pc. It handled it like a champ b:victory

    But that's my idea.

Take the time to look for your answer before you post like an idiot.

There are two kinds of people in this world...
    There are those who panic,
    And then there is us.
