The perfect iron hammer is just too expensive for me, even though the weapon is not timed I still won't open lvl 50 supply stash..
I even halt my level back then at 49 just waiting to complete 5 purple quest from the divine emissary to make a wheel of fate, which is not as strong as that sword.. But at lvl 60 they gonna be replaced by ancient arbor anyway..

The lvl 50 weapon now IS timed. The one they were showing is of the old magic sword from before they made the bonehead decision to put all this timed **** in the game.

Those weapon is for level 50. Weapon level 60 and above is better anyway.

Aluminum / aluminium ... in other words, both, though when I started playing I did buy the hammer for my first character, and have received several extra reflective shards. Not a big deal for most, but with my work schedule, I can't say added xp while I am at work is a bad thing.

Thegeneral summers magicsword is channel though; so it's still worth swapping in occasionally. Round about level 70 I found it stopped being ever it (I never did go in for rare-pet taming whenre it would still help)

Still; for those levels, it's really really nice. And being unable to switch it to a later character would really really suck.

Got it here when gold was still around 100k (right when they came out and people didn't figure out how Chests of Coins worked).

It has nothing over a TT60 weapon (-3 channeling alone really isn't noticeable), but it is stashable so other characters can make use of it.

I have the non-timed version.
I got that about 3-4 years ago when the hammer was a new item at the cash shop, and 1 gold was only 100k b:chuckle



Now, I won't bother opening my lvl 50 Supply Stash. b:laugh

Got the dual hammers out of it back when I was playing my BM. Still got my level 50 stash too for this toon.

It's a lot to spend on especially since you need yet another hammer to open it again at level 80. And the Christmas Tome you get at level 80 is pretty obsolete now.

Still have all three weapons from when the Christmas tome alone gave a profit for opening the level 80 stash.

Now I use them as joke weapons when I'm bored.

These days it's all about power levelling, but when i had the weapon chest, it took me a week or three from bh, questing to clear the 50 zone. If people spend time in their levels, they learn to like their weapons for that level and look forward to new ones. If you wizz by levels, you already have a preset notion of what you want, not much experimentation there. Each to their own.

Some would say that the timed weapons got a major boost in power to compensate on... well, the timer.

Others would say it's not too bad to have such weapons, if you make the most of them (as in playing PWI all the time in such a period of time) so it does not end as waste...
It's a bit like the special starter armor we got at one point (for new characters, some chests containing each a piece of timed equipment, much stronger than quest rewards of the same level).

I agree with none of these excuses, given that when it's gone, it's gone.

I use a wheel of fate for lvl 43-60 than i use a dragon's will.
