b:surrender I dont have a good idea of what a pvp genie should be so im just thinking of a purely defensive genie.
Skill woudl be the following ones:
Lawbreaker
Badge of courage
Holy path
Tree of protection
Fortify
Remove paralysis
Adrenaline surge
No idea if its good or not, just an idea i had. Can i have some feedback on this idea plz? b:thanks

mine is also very defensive skill-wise, with 90 dex and ~40-50 mag/vit
the problem with that genie i think would be in stat points
badge/remove paralysis depend on high dex to be effective (also works toward holy path)
lawbreaker/tree of protection depend on high str to be effective (... i think? not to sure)
i never had adrenaline surge, dunno if that is really needed though, dunno which stat points that works for
fortify is nice, but keep it at lvl 1 and be careful when using it against arcane classes
also, look into a skill called belief/faith. this is a high cost skill (which is why i dont have it), but it can help a lot
i also like how you didnt include AD or expel b:chuckle0 -
Full magic geniez + vit for expelzz b:dirty make all u trublez go awayz b:dirty b:dirty0

Talked a bit with my husband abotut his and yeah, this wont be good. Need to check but i will be including Faith in it. Gonna post the new idea later today probably.
*Edit: alright, made one still defensive, but able to do other thing also.
would be a dex genie using the following skills:
Bagde of courage
Fortify
Life drain
Expel
Tree of protection
Extreme poison
and maybe Holy path if i can. b:cry faith use so much skill point, cant include it.
any feedback on this new one?Ebrithalia -Sage Seeker0 -
ToP is not that great of a genie skill for pvp. Does not work fast enough to save you most of the time. It has to be used preemptively and is only good for certain situations, one of which, being to survive an attempted bypass by ticking your own charm. Must be used with caution if a charm tick is not intended and will not save you from heavy hitters. It's more useful for, and pretty common among barbs however, as they generally go for heavy strength genies as it is and it complements their arma pretty well.
Faith is a great skill, but if you can't make it work with holy path I don't know if it would be worth it.
I would probably replace it with AD, aka absolute domain. The only drawback to this is it GG's your genie and is no longer an aoe b:sad the antistun effect can be chained with apoth for long lasting immunity.
Expel is considered a standard defensive skill due to the simplistic implication of it's effect, but it's usefulness is actually quite limited. Any decent player will be able to damage you through it, and even stun you through it(ex: BM Roar,OI). Even if they are not able to stun you during it, If you are not able to get out of stunning range of whoever you are expelling yourself from, they may simply time their stun to just after your expel runs out. Since it seals you, rendering you unable to use skills, it's only really handy if you are a ranger and only need the few expelled seconds to kite away, or if you can get sneaky with your puries...or if you always fight idiots.
I don't know of anyone using life drain in pvp, doesn't sound awfully useful.
Then there's also the group of anti Wiz/Psy skills. Soul of fire, oxygen bubble, and far less common sand shield. These tend to be for more advanced level pking where all the wizards love and abuse a certain genie skill called spark.
Anyway, here's a basic setup with most of the useful skills you've mentioned,

Remove paralysis fits in there nicely as well.
One thing you will come to find about genies after you get a bit more experience, is that a lot of it actually depends on your play style. There's a lot of personal choice involved, so don't be afraid to experiment and get creative(within the boundaries of good decision making and reasoning that is).

Nice genie skill selection in your link above, but personally I'm not sure how I could survive without a chi gaining skill (outside of being a Sin) on my genie. Cloud erupt is virtually a necessity to me.0 -

I learned to live without it. I still have it on my PvE genie, but made the decision to sacrifice it for more dex-oriented skills on my TW genie.0
