    Much like the reality distortion field Steve Jobs possessed while alive, PW Staff has a "Time Distortion Field", accompanied by "Numerical Flux Shift" from time to time. Understand the "NFS" has a further variance with the "TDS"

    This phenomenon is typically accompanied by the words "Soon" and "Future". You will also notice relative terms often considered absolute such as "Surpass" and "Increase" with no fixed specifics.

    "TDS" and "NFS" is often confused with "Deception" and "Equivocation" due to the use of the terms "Possible" and "Expected". This is simply a result of unintended selective dissemination that may be the result of cultural and linguistic barriers between staff locales.

    Really, it's business. You're told one thing by the people responsible for an issue, and it's your job to communicate the information in the best way possible, typically in a positive manner. It's called positioning.

    What happens where things look "off" is someone you're working with, or answering to the customer for, makes a mistake. Sometimes problems are found. Sometimes the estimates are just wrong. Sometimes someone screws up, and that causes issues.

    Sometimes it's a communication issue. One person says apple, you go cool, we've got red, and really they're talking fruit. This is even more common if they are working with people from another language and cultural base.

    Mostly, be patient on stuff they are obviously aware of. I really doubt they are intentionally straight up lying to you, or keeping things down if it's not necessary.
