Question about R8 Recast

After i recast R8 the first time do i need to keep using stones to keep the refines or does it keep them automatically like with nirvana?

    you need stones, for nirvana too lol.

    no im talking about when you change the stats you get on nirvana

    If you are talking about when you already have a recast weap, and reroll it again for stats I think that yeah, it keeps refine/shards at no cost.

    reshape and hone (the 2 types of re-roll) DO NOT require stones to keep refines and gems or sockets.

    the informational dialogue at the forges clearly state it, though i am told that you don't need it to keep stuff on RECAST either. i'm not rich enough to try that though.

    when you recast the G12/14 stuff you need transfer stones, but for reshaping and honing you keep shards and refines for free
