Here are two videos I recently made on my Seeker.
They are more geared towards how to do it than artsy although I did dub music onto them to make them more fun.
Recorded at 720p-1080p using FRAPS - best watched in at least 720p HD res if you have the bandwidth.
Soloing Phoenix Valley 85-85 on a lvl 85 Seeker
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HF6imgVSf-8
Soloing Phoenix Valley 85-94 lvl 89 Seeker 2nd half - entire dungeon cleared solo.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yIK1ayscrU
Tanking Cenequus Polearm in BH69 on an 87 Seeker
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1t8QtiTo-4
Please comment if you like them and I'll make more.

I never would have believed it if I didnt see it - does vortex interrupt Pole's debuffs - I didnt see then on you once? Nice job too........0

^There's a cleric in the group.
Well, you used vortex for aggro I guess, but it is not necessary to tank pole.
But yeah, seeker can tank pole. If anyone wanted proof, there it is.0 -
Nothing new for me
Friend and me used to solo nix valley, her vortexing, me bp'ing her and luring mobs. (Yes, a sin luring mobs xD)
As for 69... any decent geared heavy class can tank it if your cleric is smart on the heals/purify b:surrender[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Part of the reason why I wasn't getting it as often was the fact that the 71BM was interrupting Pole. Both the AOEs and his debuffs. He got the timing down in the 2nd half which is why during the 2nd half I could maintain Vortex without interruption.Alsiadorra - Sanctuary wrote: »^There's a cleric in the group.

I do want to try QPQing the debuff back to Pole that should shorten the kill dramatically. Haven't had the chance yet, either the Cleric is too fast on the ball or Pole has been continuously interrupted during the last few BHs and now I'm almost at the level of boring but easy BH79. :P
But, it is nice that most squads are finally recognizing that Seekers can Tank Pole and don't even think twice about inviting me as the Tank. In the past it was always Barbs, I haven't seen a BM tank him but I'm sure it is possible although probably slower. IMHO, they are much better in the role of as a DD/interrupter.Asgardeus - Sanctuary wrote: »Nothing new for me

That technically is duoing not soloing. Duoing is easier because the Seeker can just sit there and Vortex while the Sin lures into the blender. Very little risk once you figure out how many the Sin can handle at a time. I've done that with my Alt Sin in multi-client mode.0 -
I just added another Phoenix Valley Video. This one shows my 89 Seeker clearing from midpoint to end solo. It also shows me pulling multiple lvl 95 Magic Mob at a time. This is tricky since they stun and if you don't round them up tight their ranged attack is outside even lvl 10 Vortex range.

I enjoyed watching these videos of you solo'ing PV so I thought I did it a try myself on my seeker. My seeker was 82 yesterday and had a go at the 75-84 and had no problems at all with cleric buffs and BP. Was 83 & 50% after the solo run so headed to FF and did about 3 runs, finally hit 85!
Bought the FF Gold dual swords and gave the 85-94 PV a go last night, it was kinda rough since I didn't know what to expect properly but took it slow and managed to clear half way until I go killed
Gave it a try today at level 86 and finished it! I took it slow since I was lagging quite a bit but I gained 55% and 891k spirit and finished within around 29minutes. I had to leave quite a few of the 95 magic mobs though since the lag & their stun/seals would have killed me.
I didn't record it since I was lagging but thank you HildieGarde for inspiring me0 -

Thanks. Glad you liked it and it helped.
Yep the trick is to avoid the magic mob as much as possible especially if you are going for max XP in the shortest time and/or need to complete the dungeon before the BP buff runs out.
It is an amazing amount of XP when you do a pure solo with hyper, but as you probably have found out, a split second mis-timing will get you killed when you pull a very large number at once. Accidentally aggroing a magic mob and getting stunned just as you are trying to start up the Vortex with a massive pack of mob following you is another way to get killed.( If I had saved the clips of my spectacular deaths I would have put together a blooper vid b:chuckle )
But once you get the timing down it is really fun.0 -
When i saw these PV videos i thought: "- I'm so gonna do this.", and i was wondering, what was ur gear for being able to do this?? A simple set of TT80 can do the job or i need something rare and expensive???
And i was also inspired by these videos. b:thanks0 -

Glad you liked it ^^.
I didn't really have very special gear. In the videos I have mostly the lvl 7X Legendary Armor a few 3 star items. Most items were no more than +2 refine but I sharded everything with Flawless Citrines for extra HP. The headpiece was arcane with 4 sockets filled with Turquoise shards (this is how I was able to get my mana pool high enough to Vortex continously on the Charm.) I didn't even have a Jones or O'Malley's Blessing on.
The weapon is probably the most expensive piece I have on-Divine Comprehension +5 refine.
The main thing to do this is to have enough HP and MP, maxed Defense buff skill, HP Charm, MP charm is optional but not having it makes it much more difficult as it is another thing you have to keep an eye on if you plan on using Herbs to keep Vortex going. If your Vortex stops while you are in the middle of a massive pack of mob you will die because it is the Bloodpaint heal that is keeping you alive.
Having high level Cleric Buffs makes a big difference especially against the magic mob and can compensate for weak gear.
The key is technique. If you can get Vortex with BP up before the mob swarm on you, you will survive with any halfway decent gear because the BP heal is outhealing the damage you receive. It is the same principle that the APS guys use except the number of attacks per second when you are vortexing multiple mob is much much higher. If you don't get Vortex up in time you will get interrupted while trying to channel, no gear I know of will keep you alive when 30+ lvl 85-90 mob are hitting you. As an emergency measure you can equip your genie with Earthquake. This will knockback the mob and give you a second or so to start Vortex.
Start by pulling a small number and slowly increase until you know the limit of your gear and ability. Good luck.0
