I only use Badge of courage and I didnt have any R9 gears.
If a sin would jump on me with shadow jump, purify would remove the stun and I just need to jump away to be safe.

Not true. The chances of Purify proccing increases with the number of times you get hit which makes it ideal against aps melees. But any other class such as Seeker, Mystic, other Casters (even Cleric) could stun/sleep lock you just fine and then take their time skill spamming you to death without the purify proc ever triggering. b:bye

P.S. a BM with R9 zerk axe would **** you over too since they could stun lock and then one-two shot you (zerk crit) and again the proc wouldn't have a chance to trigger.

The extra little bit of physical defense he gets from his LA is not worth it, especially considering if he wants the best LA (besides r8 recast) he has to use nirvana armor which is **** in this day and age. You severely gimp yourself by going any form of armor which isn't what your rank 9 gear is. Of course the damage is a lot more, considering I have roughly 4k mag attack more and 50 some attack level more. That's not a lot?

You are assuming everyone has time to farm money for or simply just the money to plop down for rank 9 gear which is not true. Unless some magical sale pops around with it at a stupid cheap price with an announcement of rank 10 gear around the corner. Looking at the original posters current gear I do not imagine rank 9 is any time soon for them.

lol do you have any idea what our server population is like? Mostly just sins and bms. Only insane casters would take defense lvls over ~20% proc rate purify and anti stun. Not to mention if casters do ever become more common this proc allows for a much more flexible genie to build accordingly.

P.S. Melees better hope it can't proc while phys immune, I'm sure it will if they add any elemental dmg to their attacks.

@At everyone trashing war's build: I'm not a fan of LA, but i've been shown that it's pretty good for non jaded wizzies who don't tw. Paris and another certain wiz who hops between LC and HL have shown this. Basically, until you manage to kill a r9 +12 on an arcane wiz, don't knock his build xP

This +alot and lol @ people calling someone fail because of dmg values controlled by gear.

Its not assuming when I have the knowledge for a fact. Anyone who has the money to +12 their nirvana armor has money to get +10 r9...

I dont have +12 gears , most +10^^ and yeah i have many alts i use the same gear on^^

I'm prety sure the proc of purify is 100%, without hit... or can you link me? o:
