    what kind of demon possessed you to do that build when you can have better def/more attk with a bit less crit as AA?

    Question is (and lets face it... we ALL want to know), did the mats, etc... needed to recast your R8 cost you less than the roughly 900 gold it would take to purchase the rank 9 weapon outright ?

    Also, did you get those stats on the first roll (I suspect you did since % chance for def levels is like 44% or something like that) ?

    Yes this is my 1st roll on this weap, i will try get purify later on it but so far im happy with those stats :)

    For the price it was cheaper to get than 1st cast nirvanna, (i bought for 170m worth of mats in my shop since trial is out) and farmed on my main in catalyst when trial was on.

    Damn... I had gotten kind of discouraged for a while there on even bothering going for the recast weapon but with mats becoming more and more available... looks like my Seeker will be getting Greater Darken after all. b:sin

    Not if you have 3 HA alts and 2 LA alts like I do >_>

    Let me be clear, they are both cheaper to acquire, but depending on how the re-rolls go, you can still be talking some serious coinage. If I roll my plate 23 times (average to get -int) I'll be talking a lot more coin then the nirvana plate, but that -int on plate is priceless to my sage build (5.0 base here I come!!!).

    some people are trashing the LA wiz however it is not as bad as people make it out to be. That defense level will go a long way and you have no idea what else the player has in their arsenal or plans to have in their arsenal.

    They aren't keeping any of the def levels they want purify.

    it's not worth it defense level is the best stat to have in the game other than attack level.

    would it matter if the person were dead due to less defense level? Lets be realistic here. What is roaming around to kill you out of safe zone wears rank 9 or at least a rank 9 weapon.

    If you cannot survive the initial blow then purify really isn't going to matter.

    Thing is im allrdy pretty tanky atm i have 11.1k hp and 13.5k pdef selfbuffed with demon stone barrier but i had no defens lvl beside o malley blessing, most fight i have no problems surviving the initial attak and counter attak even vs r9+12 sins (ya i know u can still kill me if i stand still and derpderpderpderpderp me 2 death in 2x spark xD)
    So purify would be better since i can tank the initial hits for the purify effect to proc, but those def lvl are rly sexy and make me even more tanky.

    And for La mage, i had one on sanctuary server long time ago( im on harshland now), lot of people told me nowdays La build is pretty fail endgame, but i have fun in pk and its pretty efficient with rly good LA gear highly refined and gems :) without losing lot attak power . here is the set i use atm :

    You think 100 or 150 def levels matter if you're stunned 7 seconds with a r9 sin on you?

    ya u are right , not like if some genies skill existed to avoid being stunt..or to be immune to damage or to purify stunt b:bye

    The amazing thing with the purify proc, its like having badge of courage +holy path + fortify all in one without using ur genie.

    Light armor wizard for end game in this era is stupid, and there is no discussion for it.

    Just look at your +12 wizard in GD who is LA, and ask him what he thinks of his build when I 1-2 shot him. His damage is pathetic even though he has a +12 r9 weapon, and the crit doesn't make up for it. He hits me with normal hits for 2.1k average, while I hit him for twice as much with normal hits. Though maybe he would hit a bit harder if he knew how to play his class.

    You sir dont know how useful this purify can be good for a wiz, LA, AA or HA

    I only use Badge of courage and I didnt have any R9 gears.
    If a sin would jump on me with shadow jump, purify would remove the stun and I just need to jump away to be safe.


    If I would have this weapon, no one could stun/sleep/paralyze me in 1vs1

    Well my targets arent mages for sure, but when most server is aps class (or class that deal phys attak... ) since most mages who arent +12 are in carebear mode its np and make my build a decent one :)
    U say this mage deal half on u and u 2 shot him so his damage suck? but u are robe so ya u have more mag def, if u were to compare something u should both hit same target and u will see damage isnt so bad :) r9+12 is overkill anyway u dont need so much damage to pk :) and what about the damage u take and the damage the mage u are talking about take by a melee class...if u arent full jod (witch is expensive build) u wont have much time to pew pew before being facerolled, and La build make for more balanced fight, u hit less u take less damage, more fun that 1 shot and being 1 shotted :P

    But back to topic any1 else have recasted r8 weap to link?
