Venomancer Duo

Jeigo - Dreamweaver

My friend recently started playing, and she made a venomancer. Because I also happen to have one, we started playing on them (both with green hair and matching outfits like a stereotypical **** couple).

I was amazed at how powerful the pair is. We did our FB19s (three times, actually, because the first time we forgot to tab. b:lipcurl), and I'm wondering if we could do FB29 together, both healing one pet.

I know you can't solo FB29 until at least low fourties with good gear, but could two level 30 venos do it?

If so, is there anything a pair of venos couldn't do together?

For reference, my pets are
Glacial Walker, Petite Sawfly, Varicose Scorpion

She has
Crystaline Magmite, Cloud Skatefish, Varicose Scorpion

We're both still doing the fruit quest for an additional slot. I hear the Eldergoth Marksman is a good one for pulling and tanking qingzi.

Mayfly - Dreamweaver

The Marksman's a level 41 tameable, unfortunately. You might consider leveling up a soft cactopod as an interim ranged tank just for FB29.

Desdi - Sanctuary

Since you're both Venomancers you could consider getting some magic+/magic attack+ gear for the time you'll be tanking to increase your healing potential.

Duo'ing FB29 at lvl3x might be too early even for a ranged pet. You can still try anyway and test your abilities, that's the most fun part! If things don't go too well, you can try again at lvl 40. That is also when the said BH starts so chances are you'll manage to duo it.

Since, for the time being, you have to rely on your pet more than your own defences, maximizing your healing potential should be your goal. Later (possibly lvl5x or 6x+) you'll need some better gear (Farren's AoE, Wyvern's AoE, Rankar's AoE, explosive mobs etc.) but up to level 49-50 your defences don't matter too much simply because you're not exposed to threats(well, unless you're too reckless like me :P).

I'm also speaking from the perspective of a Venomancer who has duo'd about 70% of the game's content (if not more, FB99 included) with another Venomancer as well as many other full-Venomancer instances and questing. Most of my friends happen to either have a Venomancer as main or as alt so I've played most of this game with Venomancers XD So yeah, if there's good teamwork you'll rarely get hit, do not neglect your gear later on though. Later, you will need it.

StacysMum - Dreamweaver

Get a Zeal keep earthflame pull mob use tank pet (glacial walker, the ugly one or Herc), possibly might get oneshoted by laterns, doesn't matter you used Zeal. Stay away from pet during fight with lanterns XD. Duo heal on boss np.

You can't duo Qingzi with a walker at 29. You can't duo Qingzi with a herc at 29... I've tried.
