The main subject is on the rank 9 gear and my suggestion for it's future!


First of all, kudos to the people who have lots of money and can afford this gear with ease!! b:victory


But for the less fortunate people, there should be a quest or quests that they can take once they make 300,000 rank. Instead of having to spend lots of money on Metals of Glory and General summer sword thingys. It's hard enough obtaining the rank to be able to get the gear, much less the materials to manufacture them. So, why not just make it like any other ranking gear and put an npc in the game that issues it to you once you make the rank and level required? I don't mean to ruffle the feathers of the peole that worked so hard to get the R9 gear they already have. But, you had to have had tones of real money to get it, right? Some people don't have that much money to spend on this game. So, lets be fair and make it so everybody can get it. Because, for some people It's impossable to get the rank 9 gear.

Also, when it comes to TW and turnaments, it's not very fair for someone with rank 8 gear to have to lose to someone with rank 9 gear. Lets say, they are both the same class and level...It's just not really a fair fight.


Second subject: The in game economy!


What the heack is going on with the price of Plat HP charms? The main example of the screwed up in game economy!!

I know it's because the drop rate in the packs aren't that good. But it's getting rediculas to the point, where nobody is selling Plat HP charms in the Dreamweaver server anymore! Also, other event items and even non event items are way over priced!! Can you fix this problem PWE???? What a mess!!

Then people wouldn't spend thousands of dollars so that they can have 0 challenge in PvP because they aren't capable of doing even half decent in games with balanced PvP

no but really pwe wants money for rank 9 gear thats the reason it takes so much to get it, pwe knows everyone will want it.

Rank 9 is the reason we have hypers today and exp frost, it was all a set up for ppl to level faster and get higher lvl to spend money on rank 8/9.

Think about it, they announce rank 9, next they bring frost change, then hypers and next the rep sales. It it wasnt for this there would be very little ppl even lvl 101, let alone with 300k rep and enough money to buy rank 9

Well, it's not going to happen.

R9 was ridiculous from the start. Only those people willing to dump thousands of dollars into the game would be able to get it. If it were made that easy to get, the whole PvE aspect of the game would be ruined, even further. They might as well give out another bless box that gives +(over)9000 attack levels/defense levels.

Let's not ruin the game any further, shall we? If anything, remove those rep badges from the boutique, forever. That's not gonna happen either, for obvious reasons.

Funny thing is PW could of made r9 slightly better then r8, not completely wrecked the game with the difference, charged the same and still would of made the same amount of money. Sure Less would be spendinging lots, but more would be spending

At least make it earnable ingame. Have an instance were so many successful quest give enough tokens to win a medal. Give more realistic rep in the game to actually reach the 300k. Most people only have a few thousand by the time they reach R8 stage. You'd have to play for decades at that rate to get it with out buying it, and nobody is doing that. Same with mystery tokens for the Gen. Summer thingys. Yeah you already give a few for bh here and there and a few in Cube if your lucky enough to hit those rooms but still, years to collect enough to do any good, again nobody is doing that.

I know this game was created in China with their devotion to things like this in mind. But this is America, land of the short attention span. People arent going to play for years so they can say whoopee I finally got my ring of trauma. Need to make an ingame process available and set a reasonable timetable on it so we dont loose interest and move on.

I'd point out that there ARE repeatable quests, several of them, which have a reputation reward.

You'd have to grind a couple of million monsters, the exchange rate of one-man-army for example is 20 mobs per reputation point, but there's also justice quests which raises the rate slightly.

Everything is theoretically available in game. It's just far faster and cheaper to buy it.

I completely agree. I'm not new to the game by any means, but I as well ran into this issue. I saw ppl with rank 9 floating around and i knew that I would eventually like to have that for my main (my, now, 101 cleric). However, I spent some money during a rep sale to get her to the point, only to find out all that ppl knew about R9 had changed, making it all the more difficult to obtain.

It took me a couple years to get my cleric where she is at, and now, other than being a great help to others, and buffs for my friends and other chars, I cant go much further with her.

So, in retrospect, I agree fully that R9 should be made more like the rest of the other rank gear, since, in reality, what good reason do you really have to not do it that way.....I mean, the company makes plenty of the sales of rep, packs, fash, mounts, etc etc etc.

Should rank9 be made like other rank gear............no. Not in its current state. Its grossly OP, and not everyone should be able to just get it like rank8 (yes, yes..i know rank8 was once the uber elite at one time and was easily purchased by everyone)

However, rank9 should not be solely a cashshop attainable thing. Granted you could farm and merchant and make the gold for it, but even in that its still cashshop only. I do believe having it the DQ shop was great. People were grinding and farming DQ's. There was a market for DQ catshops. If you were willing to put in the grind time, you too could attain it. Or do something like Dethprowl said. Make it farmable......not easily, but still doable in game.

FYI Vitenka, while that is true that the rep is farmabe via fb's and one-man armies and justices, I believe the point was the sheer cost of the medals and everything needed to actually get the gear. As far as I know, the rep itself is the cheapest part by far.

Truth be told if people were actually farming anything in the game rather than using a credit card most of the stuff like this would not be hard to get.
BH 100 2 an public quest 2 along with farming the 59 instance will get you to rank 9 amount of rep once you have purchased rank 8. Only real problem is that public quest 2 is deserted cause most would rather whip out a credit card so they dont have to actually play the game.
The high cost of rank 9 medals an summoners is very justifiable by how over powered it is compared to any mobs an bosses currently in the game. It is a farmable amount however.

Even if they made it achievable in game, people would buy it. If they made it possible to get in a efficient amount of time, and cut the price down like 500 bucks, alot more people then you think would pay the 500 bucks. Rather then farm it.

No. It is perfectly doable to merchant your way to the money to get rank 9. If you are actually dedicated and willing to be patient, you can achieve it in a matter of time depending on how good a merchant you are.

ofc its possible....everything is possible if you gonna look it that way...
example : you can get warsong weapon without paying rl money...why not?it would only took you around 7 years of playing and merchanting...but still "its possibble"

i dont know why people even worry about rank9 when rank10 is gonna come sooner you guys think...why do you think fc glitch aint fixed or people not geting banned b:laugh

Fixed.

The time to merch a warsoul weapon is not really comparable to the time to merchant a full r9 set. (Also, I sincerely doubt it would take seven years.) Still, my point is valid. Everything IS possible with zero money. In my experience, people just don't want to expend the effort to do so. If you need proof, look above you at the complaints about the "time it takes," etc.

It has only been roughly half a year since they effectively cut the costs of r8 by 90% by putting badges in the CS, not much later they did the same with R9 by putting chips in there aswell. Who knows what they'll do next?
