Hi, I've been away from the game for the past few months, and in that time some major changes happened. I'm just wondering whether the wizard class is still competitive with all the new changes? Granted I know if I return I'd definitely get R8, and might even have enough coins for some R9 gear, but how is the pvp? Is it all one-shots everywhere? R8 + jones blessing makes me think that those epic 20 minute fights vs multiple people and factions wont happen anymore, because everyone will be dead in 5 seconds.

Also, how is the power gap between an average R8 vs a R9 geared character? Is it any worse than say, a +7 lunar vs +10 R8 in the past?

I don't doubt that wiz's are still amazing in TW. I don't think that'll ever change.

And also has there been any updates on the Jone's blessing and whether they will ever remove it?

I'd say that power gap is quite a good estimate. Either way, the one who isn't r9 (or wasn't r8 in the past) would end up getting 1 or 2 shot.

R9 wizards are a force to be reckoned with. Epic fights still happen. Rarely. If there are r9 or sins or both on either side, the fights are usually pretty short. Unless you happen to have a mini TW on your hands. Then the people zerging out of sz right after they die make the fight last a few more mins.

I've got the r9 gear and a r8 weap +10. pvp has become much more fun for me adn the ones i pvp with. I dont one shot everyone and your average geared sin can only kill me when im afk xD. by average gear i mean r8 +2-5.
