Where do I get my lvl 79 skills please ?

Galox - Heavens Tear

First, you need to Get the Skill Books.

They are made from Apocalypse Pages and Medium Inks (Pages can be crafted from Tokens of Luck, Medium Inks can be bought from the Forges in Thousand Streams), and are manufactured using the forges at a Thousand Streams City.

After you have acquired the desired skillbook, you will have to pay a visit to any Wizard Trainer with the Book in your inventory, and learn the chosen Skill.

Note: After making the Skill Book, it is not required to pay any more coins to learn the skill, however, learning a level 79 Skill costs 1 million Spirit each.

Personally i find the only 79 skill i use atm is Undine. I have whisper also, but is not too useful in PVE. I have the other skill book but havn't bothered getting all the spirit to get it yet, been concentrating on maxing the ulti's, they are a bit more useful.

You are right when you say sophoric whisper is hardly used in PvE and you are also right to skip elemental shell for a while when you are short in coins and spirit. Nevertheless especially on mobs with elemental attacks elemental shell helpes a lot when you kill them aoe because the 4 s duration gives you just enough time to finish the last bit of hp with will of phoenix without getting killed by 20 mobs attacking you at the same time

Definitely Undine Strike is the first to get.

The other 2 you can get at your leisure.

Elemental Shell I use primarily for chi generation. I find I use it the most when squadded for FB or BH runs where you might be in a situation where you need/use chi at a fast rate. Also, can be useful to save yourself or other's a bit of damage from some magic attacks. e.g. i've used it on barbs in TT2-x runs when tanking General Wurlord to reduce the amount of damage he does with his magic attack (though cooldown isn't short enough to protect against all of them). I have heard it can be useful in PvP when you think you're about to be hit by another player's magic attack (e.g another wizard's BIDS).
Edit: Has a 10% chance to purify yourself as well of negative status effects.


Soporific Whisper is kind of useful in PvE but more so in PvP. E.g. in PvE against a mob (or eligible boss) that hurts a bit, if your other control skills are on cooldown or not the best fit, can use Soporific Whisper to give you a chance to run, channel a long attack, Will of the Phoenix to finish cooldown etc. In PvP, just read a few of the PvPer's guides and threads to understand why that might be useful. (I'm a carebear!)

Tbh, I use Soporific Whisper more in PvP than Undine Strike. (Even though it has a horribly long Cooldown), although I'm sure I'll start to use Undine more in the Future.

Before Whisper, I could hardly ever beat Clerics or Psychics. Now, it makes a perfect Chain for me.

Force of Will -> Undine Strike -> Soporific Whisper -> Nuke

You can definitely squeeze another attack in while there Sealed before going to Whisper.
