Is there some step I may have missed in the blacksmith quest? Apparently not, since the quest disappeared from my current quests. What am I to do? ;_;

You need to talk to any City Elder.

You can see all of the manufacturing quests here.

    Please Follow the following Steps:

At a Certain point in game You can have the obligation to Always Start doing your crafting skills.

Start at The Elder's of your original city and take upon your quest.
once taken go to the NPC's and future do that quest. Example Blacksmiths asks you to get 2 pig ores and i think iron ores as well. Once you deliver and you will receive a book from the NPC.

Head over to the elder and REMEMBER THIS STEP:
Click Manufacturing Skills so you can Learn your skill.

After you have your lv 1 skill you can start working on making lv 1 items and move your way up the ladder as you progress.

If you have any questions ask me in Pm and I'll send u a link

    In order to Obtain proficiency,

You need to level up your level 1 skill by making lv 1 weapons until your % is 100 percent in that crafting.

How can you tell if your bar becomes 100%?

when you click manufacture weapon at the blacksmith There will be a Green Bar at the top of the NPC pop up which indicated how far you have left till you reach 100% to move on to level 2.

Once you have reached the 100% In manufacturing Of lv 1
and have double checked to make sure it is.
You much have an initial amount of Spirit and cash to lv it up

    Summary:
Keep making Weapons at the highest lv your are capable of doing. [Example i have lv 6 blacksmith only way to lv it to 7 is if i only make lv 6 gear (I.E lv 90 in Character gear)

So once you make enough initial amounts of weapons you can then lv it to lv 2.

I figured out what I was doing wrong. I was in a part of the map where it was only possible to make level 2 equipment. I moved to Lost City and corrected that.
