Suggestion. 9dex 1str.

I saw a build somewhere that was 8dex 1str 1vit.

So, I was wondering if it was possible to make a 9dex 1 str? Has anyone tried it? Would the extra 1 dex make the archer stronger?

    No. You need 1 str every level to keep up with gear requirements.

    Is that for bow too? Or just light armor?

    Light armor. Unless you go Arcane Robe, 1 str is the minimum you'll be adding every level. Bows are probably 0.5 str every level though.

    Hmm, I think I'll try it. If it fails, it's still a pretty easy fix. Thanks for the help xD

    No, you shouldn't try it, and here's why.

    Let's say you're level 100. You have a current level bow on and **** armor.

    **** armor doesn't give decent mods, like +Dex. You have the extra 50 dex helping you out, but unbelievably bad defenses and HP. (Because you can't shard shards above the grade of your armor.)

    Now let's say you're level 100 with proper strength. You're missing that 50 Dex. But with the good armor, you will get +Dex bonuses that almost or completely nullify the 50 Dex advantage that the old build had, while keeping your resistances and HP at a point where a little tickle from a boss won't turn you into a stain on the carpet.

    I'm using the +4 dex and +1 str build too. I heard it was the best build to use.

    I just save all my stat points for every 10 levels, then look at gear requirements and dump them in as appropriate. b:chuckle Emphasis on Dex, of course. So basically, 8 dex, 2 str every 2 levels lol Or 9/1. I never put any vit in, I get HP through gear.

    96 Demon Cleric/Sage Seeker
    95 Demon Wiz/
    94 Sage Veno
    85 Psy/80 Mystic
    And a handful of other alts, all 79 and under.

    It is the best build to use.

    as an archer you will always be easy to kill, so might as well just focus on making yourself hit harder.

    Just do 4 dex 1 str every lvl
    it might get annoying at low lvls but all the dex will be worth at high lvl

    If i Recall correctly Rank armor dose no Need any Dex or any Str, Beside rank9, mind you i didnt dive right into it, i found capping str at 50 at lvl 50 workable. i was planing on doing such with my alt archer (for fun) getting the max outa dex, she is now lvl 54 and has 58str, as you can see i didnt follow thur with my plan.

    so i guess 0.5 str per lvl could have some uses, but i wouldnt recommend it

    I went barb style so just enough str for LA.
    But I find tons of +dex +str gear so its helped to use fist for when the mobs get close up to me in BH plus found some -req fist for level 63.
