i dont know about pve server but usually on a pvp server in tw we call targets and try to take care of r8 ppl now imagine how to call the targets when everyone is running around with +10 r8 weap GG

When you're getting ganked by 4-5 rank 8/nirvana people already, another 1 or 2 rank 8 isn't going to make any difference. It affects the squishy much more than us barbs. If you play the barb correctly, it doesn't matter much. (*looks at all the bm-wannabe barbs*)

I don't know about pvp servers, but on pve HT we already have a ton of rank8/nirvana running around before the sale. The sale made no different in TW. (at least until r9 shows up) It's more a slap in the face for all the people that worked hard to get their rank8/nirvana already.

this has given range classes a huge advantage. a +5 r8 equals a heavens shatterer +10 in damage. + the chest interval. The only god thing is that r8 bow dont have purge on it.

I dont know about your server but on mine r8 was not something everyone was running around in. estimating 5-10 from each top quilt.

now think about how many ppl will get r9. yes not everyone but maybe these 5-10 ppl. everyone who is wearing r9 will have 90 attack lvls by default. take a look at an archer in full r9; 90 att lvls, huge crit rate and advanced purge.

r9 will change TW. r8 won't, because too many people already have high refines of nirvana/r8. People seems to forget that nirvana weps are better than r8 and there are plenty of those around already. And as I said before, the r8 affects the squishy much more than us barbs. If you play the barb correctly, it doesn't matter much.

im not sure how to understand your post! you are saying that close to every archer, wiz, psyc in tw is wearing r8 or better gear and you are not factoring in that very soon there will be quite a few r9ers.

let me rephrase then:
tw is gonna change for the servers where 80%+ archer, wiz, psy didnt have r8 or better before sale and where r9 is expected to be in tw soon.

Not really... there were plenty of r8 and nirvana peeps in TW before the sale. I don't see the extra r8s making much difference for barbs; we're already massively ganked by all the heavy DDs that more r8 won't make any difference. If you're a vit barb with gear good enough to TW and play the class right, most of the time it's the perma stuns that kill you.

Rank 9 on the other hand... that's a different story. b:surrender

Don't do it. Unless you're going for r9, r8 is garbage for barbs. TT90 Gold axe is better IMO.
For PvE, you don't even need a good axe. My cheap green TT99 +2 refined worked fine for PvE. Prior to that I had green TT90 +2.

Barbs can get rank 8 weapon with stun so here's my question...since barb have tons of AOE. Can barb use that in TW and have chance to AOE stun everyone they hit or only the selected target? If so, Armageddon followed by a 3 second stun would...hurt.

I'm actually not sure on the stun. Stun goes off for normal atks, but for skills, I don't exactly know, and I didn't really pay attention. lol

I thought I did see a mob stunned after I arma'd at a wraith atk, but might have been another player who did it. b:surrender

If the stun does go off when you use a aoe skill it will only stun the single target you have selected. b:sad
