Blade of the red dust?

I'm looking at lvl 90 weapon possibilities for my Cleric. I like the looks of the blade of red dust for its stats (-6 chan as opposed to +dex or evasion or critical hit rate all stuff I don't care about as cleric.)

But it doesn't seem like many use this weapon. And I've never seen it for sale in AH before, either. So it seems rare. Question I had is how come? Is there something about it that's not good for a cleric that I'm missing?

    I had it till I got my neon purg. It's an awesome weapon and I suggest it over the other TT90 weapons. You don't see it sold because it's bound upon equipping, and a lot don't have it because some of the mats are more expensive.

    Oh right, I was going to ask about the binding thing. Might be a dumb question but I've not had bound gear before - you equip it, it binds, and then what? You can't unequip it? So how do you replace it with a new weapon? lol

    You can unequip it or whatever, but it can't leave your account. No trading, but you can account stash it.

    Its only a good weapon if and only if you dont plan to get tt99(gold or not), tt 100.
    You would be better to check what you need for your ideal end game weapon before commiting to farming/buying it.

    I had a Blade of Red Dust until I replaced it with Fate of Denial: Godspeed. The mats aren't very hard to get now; 300k for Dust of Devil compared to 2m back when I made it. The gold mat needed is Sacred Mother's Aura from 3-1. Get a veno you know with a herc and you can farm it easily; or make a squad with high dps and it'll go even faster. Do what we crazy people do (zhen 3 minutes boss, sacred mother boss, GBA boss and the one that looks like oppressor) and you can farm this instance several times in an hour.

    Agreed entirely with this.

    I also used a BOTRD until 99 on cleric and went to the Fate Denial: Godspeed.

    On my veno, I used the Wheel of Denied Fate then went to that same weapon.

    In both cases on the Godspeed, I was in luck that BH 3-3 squads were in dire need for clerics for the Empire's Sighs, so getting 4 was simple. b:victory
