Can't decompose lv5 3-star stuff???

I have crafting skill level 3 - 30/30
I am trying to decompose a coupld of Alabaster Pendants - durability 92/92
I verified to repair them - cost of 0 so they are full durability
I try to decompose at one of the Archosaur Craftsmen
The pendants were drops from FB39 bosses

WHAT BE THE PROBLEM?!!?

just a note that i also have a few Tailor lvl 5 boots and they also aren't working and also i tried with a regular 1-star alabaster pendant and it worked fine.

    I think the problem is that some time ago Perfect World reduced the amount of mirages you can get from 3 star items by 1. Not a percent reduction, but just one. Which means a lot of the old items that only have 1 Mirage when decomposed can't be decomposed anymore. Still have the original fee though.

    Pretty sure it had something to do with Gold Farming in the China version, but a rather pointless for PWI, and a cheap 'fix' to.

    Sorry, but 3 star gears got nerfed a good while ago. You get perfect stones now from above lvl6 equipment. Below that, you will not get anything. Better to NPC them if they have bad stats.

    Wow so the lesser value items can be decomposed but the 3star more rare items are almost worthless since, lets be serious, not many ppl use lvl 5 and below equipments for long sooooooooo ... in the end that's got to be the most utterly stupid fix i've ever seen in my history of playing MMO's. PWI designers should be completely embarrassed to have implimented such a pathetic attempt at improving the game's stability.

    Fail of epic proportions. Thank you for the info though, i can at least ditch this useless **** now.

    If it's got decent enough stats/adds some lower level stuff sells well. Though the lower level molds sell for stupidly high. Also, anything with -chan at the lower levels sells for an arm and leg for some stupid reason (-chan on ~30 mold rings, those things are just absurd in market price @.@)

    But yeah, probably could have come up with a more complete fix (make the lower 3 star decomp into SOMETHING)

    Channel sells because channel is good.
    The rest of the stats on the ring don't matter at all, many casters would quite willingly equip a ring that had ZERO +mattack, if it had channel.
