for 2x event? I'm a Veno with a Glacial Walker so I want to get him in on the action, but I also don't mind having to kill flying mobs either since they give double the xp any way.

any suggestions?

Well if you where near the lvl 90 zone i would of told ya to grind on the phys mobs. Their got shield in their name, idr the full naem atm.

Pure phys with an arggo range of like 20-25m.
Awesome as hell drops, I can usually make a ton just grinding on them for a few hours.

Well, before Perfect Cookies, Bloodbirds north of Lost City on the mesa would have earned you some decent exp, ok DQ and venison...

Finish your Wraith's Ploy and kill mobs in OHT.
I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

Sorry, a bit tired. You have to be 80 to enter Old Heaven's Tear. It's a map of the Old Heaven's Tear, but like... 1000 years in the past. So you have a few levels till you can access that past map.

Try the bloodbirds... or perhaps the butterflies that were mentioned. It's unlikely, but if you have a leveled up water pet you could try fishies (forget their real name) over in Sea of Isolation.... however that'd be better suited once you get a Celestial Plumpfish for a pet.

Also, pay attention for Wraith Attacks. There was one over by Sanctuary earlier today that would probably have been good for you.

You only need to be 70+ to get into OHT, since Wraith Ploy starts at 70, and some OHT quests are 70s quests. So feasibly you can get in there, after the long chain, take advantage of this being 2x, and kill [?] mobs in OHT (array mobs, and the player-looking ones directly west [far west] from the OHT entrance) that are not bosses called Crack Warper, Void Hunter, Blackhole Devourer, and so on.

Wraith attacks were a good idea too.

At 81 (and even 80, I think) I preferred doing the guys right outside Sirry Wine Camp (Elite Infernal Guards). They have a One Man Army attached which never hurts, I could usually stay right outside town which means basically no travel distances, there's a couple of harvestable resources in the area, and the best thing --- these guys are pure melee, no ranged attacks whatsoever. Extremely helpful for levelling the fly (catching heal aggro from a bystander? No problems, it actually helps the pet as he'll walk to my position until he's below me, then decides it can't hit me, puts up the force field and walks back. All the time not hitting my fly), but also nice for levelling the Magmite.

I don't have AoE skills, but I've seen people AoEing in the general area. Don't know whether it's a good place for that; there's a reasonably(?) high monster density just a bit farther away from town. My guess is that the lack of ranged attacks helps clustering the monsters for AoEing...

I'll probably (have to) look for something else for the next grinding session, though. Probably just moving up the One Man Army list, skipping birds and stuff with this magic missle thingy that shoots right past the pet even if you don't have aggro. I hate being shot at, and I certainly hate being the collateral damage.

I don't have access to OHT, but I guess it beats the world map any day.
Slow progress, game is getting way too grindy :-( Quests I still hope to be able to do some day: FB39, General Feng

+1 to post above, you can also add a justice quest onto it at a certain lvl. Justice quests are never a bad idea imo.
