Still having problems with high settings.

Ok so i used to have Nvidia's 8500 GeForce GT card, couldnt play a lot on high settings, especially water effects and terrain. 5 minutes ago I got Nvidia's GTS450 and installed it. I can play mostly everything on highest settings, water brings my FPS down to 30, but still playable. However.... Terrain knocks my FPS down to about 20 while in oht. (the area where im testing atm)

Is there any way I could increase my FPS so I can enjoy highest settings?
