Dont Buy Prepaid Cards

I'm really b:angry over my treatment through customer service. I bought a $10 card which was activated, when I tried to redeem the card it said that it was an invalid pin. I put in a ticket on the 1st of October. They offered me a solution which I tried and the card still didn't work.


So I'm saying if you don't want to lose your money don't buy pre paid cards because they just offer you some stupid suggestion that may or may not work and they sit and doing nothing else for you.

    Did you:

    - choose the right payment method?

    - enter the code correctly / in the correct field?

    - buy the card in a store or online? (People selling used cards?)

    Yes I did everything correctly. I have purchased several prepaid cards and tried what they have suggest by clearing my cache, cookies, and reboot my pc. Still didnt work I asked if there was some way that I could get a gift card for $10 or add it to my wallet. Instead they suggested the samething that didn't work to begin with which I tried still nothing. After that I have not gotten a single response from customer service.

    The same happened to me, I went to buy five cards but decided to only buy 4 so I put one back. I came home, and one of the four cards didn't work. I tried everything, the code and etc. So, I contacted gamestop and explained the situation to them, turns out...the card that I put back, was the one that got activated and the one I had, was the one that was supposed to go back on the cart. lol Mistakes like this happen, it night have been scanned wrong and not activated. I'm sure if you would have contacted gamestop, they would have activated your card as long as you can prove that you bought it. You know, that little piece of paper given to you when you buy something? b:chuckle

    Never put any cards back just bought the one and it was activated. I have bought several cards without any trouble what so ever.

    Then the chances are, it really didn't active. Probably just looked like it did. Nothing is perfect, including the cards. If you cared enough you would have taken them back to gamestop and had the situation handled instead of telling other people to not buy the cards over what might have been just a simple mistake or fluke in the cards and or scanner. b:pleased

    I just have a new batch of these cards from the last few weeks that are being worked on literally right now to be resolved. These issues take time to resolve because of the amount of emails back and forth to many people to ensure that the card will actually work. If you have replied to the original email where we asked you to try a few things, you are on my new list. We ask for your patience while the issue is being worked on as these things are not fixed overnight and take a few weeks to fix at the very VERY least.

    i bought a 2 zen cards and loaded them with no problems but i cant transfer the zen to my character. ive handed in 5+ tickets and i keep getting the same solution, to delete the cashe and cookies and restart the computer. the browser isnt the problem. i cant transfer the zen.. it says i must have a lvl 10 character or higher, my character is lvl51.. can anyone help me with this? thank you
