I would like to know if there is going to be maintenance tomorrow or not. I am seriously hoping there will be since Version 423 is glitched and players with Windows Vista are having trouble connecting to servers.

When it's known that there will be maintenance (or not), it will be posted as a sticky in GD here. All we can do is wait and see I guess.

You aren't going to find out until tomorrow. Normal maintenance is never announced a day in advance. lol

Hm? I've logged in at least once every day since last patch without any troubles... and I use Vista.
    Madness?

Yep, as others have said, maintenance or the lack thereof will be announced tomorrow as always.

Also, I haven't heard of any major issues affecting Vista users, have you tried posting in Tech Support?

Yes and that is turning into a joke. Tech Support is trying to say it is my OS that is causing the problem and I know for a fact that it is not as I can't even log into the game on one of the computers at work that has Vista, but I can on one of the computers with Windows XP.

Actually there is one person which is my girl friend who is having some what trouble on the game which mostly its glitches that we happen to see upon and one of them is annoying which is the water glitch, However despite that determination on thinking....

the only thing I can say is...this game needs alot of fixing with those glitches I am not complaining about it I mean its all good....but seriously this game needs a really bad fixing up buuut I know some people do not have the budget which I can understand not making enemies lol just suggesting t hat's all.

did you try a complete removal and re-install Hagrid? I've got 6 system that run PWI, Vista 32 and 64-bit as well as win7 32 and 64-bit and haven't' had any issues with loading/playing the game.

Also given that probably 98% of the other vista users are having no problems either, it leads to the general reckoning that there is some issue on your end, rather than with the client.
Take the time to look for your answer before you post like an idiot.

Yes. I have done a complete uninstall, reboot and reinstall 11 times at the request of Tech Support and have the same issue. I try to log in and the time out screen starts counting up to 40 seconds, then says "unable to connect to server"

Using Vista here on two different com. No trouble logging in at all. Both com are 64 bit. Tho most of the time PWI response are pretty much useless answers but this time u might wanna work with them to find out the problem coz lots of us are not having any issue of unable to log in even with vista.
