TT BM Question

Anyone here ever try to tank Soulbanisher in 1-3 on a BM? Just a question. I managed to tank it last night. ^_^ And I'm only 76.

    gratz. I tried to tank the 1-1 version, and I had trouble because the cleric we brought along...wasn't really the best type. She wouldn't stack IH on me....even tho I (ended up) yelling at her to do so....

    And I thought (never tried) I couldn't even tank 1-2 at 83 with a cleric...

    I gotta try to tank it some day. Also, how about the other bosses?

    Pretty nice lol, but try tanking FCC at level 82.
    AP classes are a real butt pounding...

    74 with 4.2k hp solo cleric

    yes its a bish but can be done (<3 shadowless)

    i did arch...i did...so much death before i figured it out...so much deathb:cry

    Honestly, Soulbanisher is tougher than any boss in FF. My archer easily tanked FF bosses in the low 80s. BM tanking Soulbanisher 1-3 certainly is possible at the OP's level with one cleric in BB and another healing. The big damage on Soul comes from his magic hits. Combined with his normal melee hit after I would say he is comparable to Illusion Nemen of 3-1.

    My dude ain't lvl 82, but 78 and at 70 he joined a introductory party for FCC.....Lets just say the veno tank failed and my dude was taking arggo on everything....

    All i did was hit "Double spark" and then switch between mobs with fists and when I got back two sparks I switched to axes and hit Heaven Flame.

    I still got arggo on all the mobs. Thank god the cleric ruled and kept me alive, while the veno healed her fail tank herc.

    Boss is way to easy, HUGE exp room is harder then Soulbanisher in my opinion.

    The big room has Captains in it. If you aggro the WHOLE room, you have, at least, two captains. And they use the HF debuff. That's all. Aside from that, it's cake. Yes, I have been in the FF. Prolly got distracted.

    Last time I tanked it, cleric was slow on BB and he greeted me with a nice 7k whack from that spell of his lol. Of course it's possible, but ideally you'd never want a BM tanking it unless they're 90+ with comfortable HP or know their class damn well. If you **** up and mistime a single shadowless, you'll wipe your squad, and cleric has to know what they're doing and have a very decent heal.

    Have to disagree with arch (and stop trying to inflate your own ego over FCC, make your own thread dude). Boss is very difficult and tanking it at 76 is quite impressive. So genuine gratz to OP.

    My BM was about lvl 81-82 when I tanked him (and drummer) with only BB (no 2nd cleric), I had barb buff on though (Barb had crappy gear, so they wanted me to tank instead).

    Tanked him in 1-2 at 78-79 without barb buff and only BB. Was charmed though, and it did tick a few times so I dunno if I woulda died without charm.

    All depends on gear tbh, with nice gear and HP no reason you couldn't tank em. My BM had pretty nice gear, and had around 5500 HP before lvl 80, and a lil over 6000 HP at 80.
