Cant Link items

I know how to do it, I can Shift-click Items that I am wearing, but anything else I cannot shift click, I tried heavy wrist gaurds, extasy cards various other things I cannot think of right now, but If Im not wearing it, it wont shift-click. Yes it is in my inventory, I have tried various different times and this has been an issue since the feature was brought into the game.

    if you have a fully expanded inventory and are used to viewing it in windowed mode (side by side), try switching to the old scrolling view. There is apparently a glitch in the shift click with windowed mode inventory
