Sage and Demon

I've been thinking about converting to demon, looking for a different side to the game etc. I'm just wondering, before spending a fortune on new skills, restats, maybe claws, if changing from sage to demon makes that much difference for people?

I don't do as much pve wise anymore, where's the fun in it? (funny coming from sum1 on a pve server huh). I mainly just login to pvp, so opinions from people in the pk scene who have changed be greatly appreciated. Ty b:thanks
