I saw someone selling a christmas tome. I checked the item link and it said..

Adds 1% to critical rate.
(Right click to use)

I asked him if it was permanent and he said yes.

So what I dont understand is, are there really items that give you permanent stats? And if so why dont people just buy a million of them to become invinceable practically?

Cause I looked up tomes on the auction and saw there were ones that give you Dex +6 Str+8 etc..

Are those permanent as well? What is going on? Please help and ty.

    The "right-click to use" must be a typo, it should be "right-click to equip."
    Tomes are jewelry; there is only one slot for them.

    A tome is a piece of gear, much like your weapon and armor.

    Idk where the whole right click to use thing came from. Never seen that on a tome before
