    I mean I agree that wizards in TW are far better than in, say, the tournament. But that's because they are ranged.

    And seriously, they are not the only ranged class in this game. Magic classes are nerfed in this game. Yes they are all ranged. But so are archers.

    And of course, I was talking about spamming gush, not ultis. :P

    Yes tab-gush-pyro works against low geared people. A wizard is **** against an equally geared opponent especially if opponent is aware of wizzie and targets him. Wizards, due to being ranged (but for goodness sake they are not the only ranged class), are obscured most times in TW.

    I'll agree that any non-interval class sucks in PVE.

    But PVP? You really think they're nerfed? Saying a wizard sucks in 1 v 1 is like saying sins are **** in group PVP and tw. You're taking a class' strong point and pitting it against another's weak. Doesn't really make sense. Funny thing is though, even in 1 v 1, wizards are still pretty strong.

    There was this time I was watching Nykage (+10 refines, vit stones, fist BM) PVPing with Elayne. I ended up getting killed by a hailstorm from Elayne from AOE, but I can tell you Nykage didn't win that fight.

    Lastly, you're right, wizards aren't the only ranged class in the game. But find me another class that can hit a barb for 100k. Or hit people for 7k non-crits with a 2 second channel skill.

    With an assassin it's more of *zap* "OMG I GOT ***** BY AN ASSASSIN!*"

    With a wizard it's more like:

    Group of people on lane B: *gets hit for 30k* "Uh...nice weather we're having today"

    i never fought a veno as a melee, but fought a friend as my cleric, she face rolled me in fox form. b:surrender i lost lol. i don't wanna lose my winning streak cause of a veno's bramble guard lol

    Ganking doesn't take much skill. Getting out of a gank takes skill.

    $30,000 really isn't that much considering what some people spend on their toys. Let's see, what are some other things people will spend $30k + on?

    1. Investments
    2. Property
    3. Cars, Boats, Planes, etc
    4. Vacations
    5. Horses (yeah some do cost that much)
    6. Businesses
    7. Top secret bunkers fully stocked with spam and gatorade
    8. Plastic Surgery
    9. Giving to charity
    10. Taking your band on the most epic cross country tour
    11. College
    12. A really big bag of flour to make a really big biscuit

    Any more you can think of? I'm all tapped out for now..

    Oh lol, I read this entire thread to reply to the second last post In a totally off topic fashion..

    And meh, though its been an interesting read, I can't say much about it. Endgame wizzies do have the potential to kill any and everything. With luck and skill, a 5aps sin might even have troule killing them if the Wizzie is concentrating and has good Genie skills.

    college is a toy b:shocked it's fun, but not 120k fun...

    At least most of these things retain value or give back value after a while...
