We will be having server maintenance tonight from:


10:00pm PDT until 12:00am PDT


And to kick off the usual maintenance conversation:

    Patch Notes Version 362
    Released July 13, 2010

    Tournament Event
    Back by popular demand, the Tournament Agents have returned to Perfect World!

    *There are some issues with the Tournament system currently so please enter at your own risk.*

    The Tournament Event occurs every Thursday night at 20:00. Sign up at any Tournament NPC located in the major cities.

    Players entering the tournament will be separated into different 6 depending on their level.

    Each bracket has a maximum of 96 competitors. Once the bracket is full, the tournament will begin.

    Step 1: Players compete within their individual rooms to open one of the Tournament Chests. Players who are able to open the chests will advance to the next round.

    Step 2: Players compete again in within their individual rooms for the Tournament Chests. The catch is that now the room is PK enabled!

    Step 3: Repeat step 2 until there are only 2 players left in the room. Only 1 can survive ... b:sin

    Rewards can be taken to the Tournament Agent or Jolly Old Jones to be exchanged for powerful items!

    User Interface
    Coordinate Assistant - Incorrect entries have been fixed.

    Nirvana Forges - The interface for gem transfers now allows for more descriptive information about your gems.

    Graphics
    The Bone Licker dagger now properly shows up in both hands.

    Localization

    Skill Descriptions
    Cleric's Demon Stream of Rejuvenation description is now consistent with the normal and Sage versions.

    Misc
    Jolly Old Jones' Jolly Rewards and Championship Scroll descriptions have been modified to reflect the return of the Tournament Agents.

    Psychic weapons are now labeled as Soulsphere instead of just Spheres.

    All instances of Bookseller have been changed to Bookmerchants for consistency.

    Material Dealers have all been renamed to Black Market Vendors for consistency.

    Changed all instances of Venemous to Venomous.

    Other minor miscellaneous localization.

    I'm suspecting new fashion this week... Plus there's a chance that all the aero-gear you could acquire from Jolly Jones will be added to the Boutique (Brilliant Plumes, Flame Drill, Galactic Beetle, w/e:TB).

    People always seem to blame the tank or cleric, even if the DD goes and aggro's a whole room of exploding mobs and AOE's knowing full well he wouldn't be able to withstand the epic explosion that followed.

    The devs, GMs, forum mods, and most of enrage opened up too many anni packs and stole aggro from a WB by expelling everyone else, but then the sin died because the barb couldn't hold aggro because fleshream isn't strong enough anymore and he was rubberbanding in a lighter shop. Luckily, the sin got the WB down to 1/100th of his HP in the second he had aggro because he had a warsoul, and only sins can get warsouls. But then enrage killed everyone, because that's what they do.

    So it was tsungfai who caused the squad wipe.

    Yea if another pack came in after maint...

    If not, then you should be able to gain money off of it.
