As mostly everyone know's, editing the wiki is easily an option to all people >.>

So, my question posed on that is, does our current mod have any "forums" to fill out for a person to edit a page(s) of the wiki?

b:thanks b:thanks

Edit away. As long as your edits add useful PWI-related information to the wiki, then please feel free to edit and create new content there. If you're worried about spelling, punctuation, grammar, formatting, etc... it's not a problem, I'll do any editing corrections of that sort for you. I want to keep a consistent tone of voice throughout the wiki (avoiding personal references, like "I've seen X" or "my character...", etc.), so I may make a few edits here and there for that as well.

However, I won't edit your user pages (unless you ask me to or there's something offensive there). That's your place to post information about your PWI characters, factions, etc...

P.S. If there's some joke related to the "forums" comment, please fill me in. I feel like I'm missing something b:puzzled

I think the joke is that a bunch of people requested their wiki entries be locked, which totally defeats the purpose of a wiki.

IMO, all the wiki entries should be unlocked, and if the authors can't handle that they they shouldn't be posting on a wiki to begin with.

I agree. Rarely does anyone have all the great or correct information in any of their guides. Read through a few pages of any of the sticky guides and see the many corrections, omissions, improvements that could be made..

    I totally agree.

At this point there are only four left that need to be unprotected, so I'm getting that fixed now.

They were originally locked for the PWI wiki contest, but since that's over they should all be unprotected, except for the main page and the images used there (unfortunately the main page is a prime target for vandalism, so that one has to stay protected).

I also plan to go through and remove all of the "signatures" that are on article pages. The articles belong to anyone to edit, and the article history shows who did most of the work, so that's all that they really need.

Thanks for reminding me to take care of that. :-)
