QQQQQQ BACK TO BACK PACK SALES WHY!??!?!?!?


... Nah, I jest. I'm so used to packs by now I don't really give a **** either way. But I kind of do want to see a new sale at some point... maybe... you know...

.... aerogear... -cough-

I really do suck at this game. I just love pretty things and I have to have them. You know, to the point I make economically stupid decisions (and then later jokingly complain that I have no money, even though it's all my own damn fault.) Like you know, Blazing Tempest, which I bought for 15 million back when it was nice and rare and...

... I could have saved a lot of money if I had waited. >.> Then again, you know, I didn't quite expect the tiger packs to be around for quite so long and shame on me.

But I want new aerogear and I'd appreciate if it wasn't on a "Buy a bajillion packs and hope you win one" basis. You know, the latest aerogear has been pretty iffy as far as I'm concerned - I like the Dark Lord wings but the only people who have them on my server seem to be people who intend to keep them. The new wings I don't mind quite so much, but you know, I still like them.

But why must they always be in packs? QQ

[On a somewhat related note, I can't be the only person to think that the latest Untamed aerogear looks suspiciously like the Ikran/banshee in Avatar, can I? ]

    The Kin doesn't like the gamble packs of any kind, especially since it made weapons and such so easily attainable that should be farmed. (Lunar weapons and such should be farmed and earned, not bought in The Kin's opinion as they're simply too powerful..Same with level 100 weapons.) Buut, that's fine. The Kin really doesn't play anymore so he didn't get used to the packs.

    They realized they make more money putting new aerogear in packs that have a 1% chance to contain it and selling the packs 1 gold each.

    That they did, that they did. Which is why I didn't even bother posting in suggestions because it's a suggestion that won't be heard, nor considered, by anybody with the power to actually make an aerogear sale happen. xP

    It just kind of sucks though because now I'm hoarding money as fast as I can manage to try and get an aerogear that only a few people, in the end, are gonna end up with. =<

    Curse the fact I'm an addict for the pretty stuff.

    To Airyll: I guess that if they did put new aerogears in the boutique, they would have to lower the price of the less fast ones. As for sales, I do believe it's not in order soon because packs are here, and the ones gamers trade between themselves still fetch for a good value.

    P.S.: Gambling is based on greed, on value of the item gained, not on risks and consciousness of the gambler.
    For it to be successful, there is this crazy idea of 'I will get this super item for cheap, because I am lucky', but what's the probability?
    If you buy directly from boutique, you pay a lot at once, but you have a chance to get it of 100%. If you don't, you are overwhelmed with despair and a feeling of void, plus guilt that you let the possibility of obtaining it go, no matter how minuscule it is.
    And so, you gamble. and then after you try to gamble to gain it back, or because the next one is 'the winning pack, for sure, no mistake'. Etc. etc.

    Drop rate is ridiculous in another way...I know someone that made enough money from those mounts to afford a Lunar Weapon Insignia.

    Oh well, I'm not complaining. I got a Brilliant Plumes for my Cleric for 200k b:victory
    I want that new human aerogear though. I've had my Flame Drill for quite a while through its days of rarity and now every BM and their grandmothers have one. b:sad

    Regarding human gaming, me has been active in the scene ever since humans showed up on our radar with the advent of "Super Mario" on the handheld gaming device known as "Gameboy"

    We showed no little to no interest before that, but with the spreading of consoles we figured we can still contact humanity indirectly using this as a medium.

    o and me suppose this be a bit of trivia, but standard interaction protocol dictated that me contact humans with anonymous names such as ".m" which me later replaced with "weak noob Hamster" when me realized that humans be rather dim overall and those that might has the brainpower to figure things out will be...placated with just minor tweaking of their minds largely due to how humans act in groups.
    other names me has used be "A123B", "plx" (err....somehow me think me name got used incorrectly as "please")
