Shaodu with the herc's skills [Question]

This is my first post, so ... Hello everyone!.

I have a shaodu cub. And I wanted to know if it's worth buying the herc's skills.

I already have "protect" and I'm saving to buy "strong".

I know there are a big difference between the two pets. But ... Is that enough to do the same work of an herc?

Honestly I do not want to buy a Herc by his appearance. My girlfriend has one and I do not like it. b:surrender

At level 90 when buffed, a shadou cub will have 18985 pdef and mdef, while a herc would have 22380 pdef and 17902 mdef. The cub would also only have 3149 hp, while the herc would have 4135. You definitely wouldn't be able to tank all of the bosses that a herc can tank, but if you're seriously opposed to getting a herc then a cub isn't a bad choice. Boss fights would be a bit slower than if you were using a herc, though. You'd also have to heal more often, obviously. In the long run you really would just be better off getting a herc... even if it is ugly. It's a much better choice. lol

i think u can tank bosses in tt..if u get Hp buff Protect and strong^^ and refect...but then it wil do low dg..cuz (can only have 4 skils)..but w those i think cub wil be powerfull.

It won't get you into FF squads, You'll probably be scorned in every squad scenario. It's bad enough when most venos don't do their job well at all, but they're despised even more when using pathetically under classed pets. Not only will your pet's dmg be bad, but everyone in a squad will have to be even extra careful not to steal aggro further slowing things down. People don't like slow. If you can earn the coins for a few legendary skills, you can earn the coins for a herc. -Or just be despised and rejected by many others. Those who actually have a sensible use for those skills will be a bit bothered as well.

4 ledary skils = under 40m..so:P u save alot there..

home made pets are more spesial the cash shop shiiet..waste of real money...if u like waste alot moanyzh..gimme some:P

if those 4 legendary skills you speak of are the ones mentioned above by you
blessing - 45mil
strong - 15-20mil
protect - 10-15mil
reflect - 5mil
then its nothing under 40 mil like you said

uh and cub is actually a bad choice because it has very low atk and low hp plus it doesnt have such good pdef. you wont be able to do some TT bosses. you can save those money but wont help you to gain more while with herc you can actually gain those money back much quicker

It's about 80mill.
Looks is more important than performance, but these actually might increase pet owner performance. b:chuckle

You don't save a thing. The time wasted, the incapabilities, the exclusions will cost you it back many fold. It will continue to cost you throughout the rest of the time you play. It takes money to make money and if you dump it in the garbage you set yourself way back.

Short answer: no. Just get a herc if you're looking to tank things.
