PWI Doesn't Use All Your Cable Speed

I have a 25 MB/sec line, so I thought, since I'm going to Sheboygan, might as well test the game on 3 MB/sec speed.
Guess what happened?
My 25 MB/sec speed was the same as the 3 MB/sec speed; same lags, same quickness, everything was the same.
Same ping, same jitter, no packet loss, etc.
So as soon as my Charter Cable promotion ends, I'm throttling down to 1 MB/sec so I only have to pay 19.99 USD a month instead of 60 USD a month.
What about you guys? Ever tried this?

There once a time when I cared about getting to the top quickly as possible to help others. Now, I take it slow, and don't worry about having nothing to do. There's always something to do in an MMORPG, especially if you are high level. PK'ing is for those who desire to inflate their egos. True friendship comes from helping one-another, rather than to start rivalries.
It takes 315300 Mysterious Chips to make one warsoul weapon, if you have a 100% success rate.

Online games use very little bandwidth. Not knowing how PWI is coded I can not tell you how much bandwidth is used but it is likely around 100kb/s. Online games never come anywhere close to even 1 Mb/s so having 25 Mb/s or 5 Mb/s will not affect you in the least. The only rule to this is if you are downloading in the background, you may use much of it up.
Ping and jitter are also not determined by your bandwidth, they are caused by your distance to the ISP and the ISP's distance to the game server. Or by the quality of the medium being used. The only thing you can do to get better lat or less lag is to join a server closer to your physical location, or get a new ISP who might have better infrastructure.
Or possibly your computer could suck... but its prob not that.~~Blood Red since 30~~0 -
I joined an east coast server without knowing it was east coast. Now I feel dumb. Could have had 10 ping on west coast server, instead I have 100. I could start a new game, but it would be boring doing the same quests twice... it isn't that bad[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Ashura Tyrant you foul mouthed little boy! I must keel yew nao =30 -
