Demon / Sage Conversion - SP issue

Just curious how people will sort that out.

I was really looking forward to go demon, the money for getting books was not that big of an issue. But when this came out now i kinda realized im gonna have to wait for a year to change, unless i wanna start grind like crazy. For a full conversion i need like 30 million spirit points (probably more for some classes like Bms + wizards) to re-learn all lvl 11 skills again.

Still i have never been spam-feeding raising a bunch of genies or pissing away spirit points in any other way. Only leveled up my main genie to 100. Than rest of my spirit points have gone into skills including archer lvl 100 skills and 79 skills.

But there is no way in hell i will be able to learn any main demon skills after doing a culti-change unless i start running 3 hyper Frost a day for weeks. Which is a bigger turn of than buying new skill books to be honest. If im gonna get tortured in Frost i rather do it on a char that actually needs 99+.

Spending my spare time in game in a leveling instance for spirit, no way i stopped actively leveling my archer 1 year ago b:angry

Could they not at least have let u get the spirit for the skills back when they re-set it to 10 >.<

Or am i the only person with this issues.

pretty sure everyone is going to have this problem.

getting alot of the rare skills (again) is going to suck. like quickshot, stone barrier, summer sprint, etc.

surprised you only have 2 mil spirit, you must not do dailies or anything lol

My suggestion if you've got all level 11 skills and money for new books isn't a problem: Start a new archer on the same account, hyper/oracle it up to level 95-100, make him/her demon, unluck the account stash, and trade equipment back and forth between the two archers. Best of both worlds. The only hitch I can think of is if you've got rank 8 gear - that will not go into the account stash.

Given PWE's propensity to change things, I would not want to risk switching to demon, only to have them implement some change which suddenly makes sage better and being doubly-screwed.

ho much spirit BH 2 reward give if you choose spirit option? Possible help there, and there are always the badges/signs from DT, Cube ect... Grind for coin and buy them maybe?

Start doing your dailies, get your BH2 done and choose the spirit reward?

I have 11 of my demon skills. Last I checked I had 28m spirit after learning a couple of demon skills several weeks ago. Now I have 34.5m spirit.

Yep. Do all dailies and if you want some deltas. Then again you may have a preference which skills are more important that you'll learn first. Will take 2-3 month. Books must have been expensive

I'm actually happy to hear this.

I don't like restats and resets and other such items. It's just another way for every rich friggin' nublet with an Arcane BM to see someone else create a REAL BM and completely copy the good player, just because he has the money to do so. If tomorrow someone were to discover that a heavy armor sin is the best build ever via careful character analyzation and thinking, then what's keeping every sin from restatting to copy that guy? Absolutely nothing. The guy works hard, comes up with a good build, then he has one week of glory before every nub copies him. Seems unfair to me.

Same goes for Demon/sage. So yeah, I'm glad there's some form of punishment for picking the "wrong" path.

Just hyper the first boss in nirvana. He gives like 630K XP and turning on x12 Hyper for a few seconds only costs like 30k coin. Also choose spirit option from BH2.

Actually, if it were me I'd be flattered, tbh.

That aside, I agree. And it's kinda iornic. People QQ that there's not enough content, then when they have to work at something (like sage/demon conversion), they QQ that it's too hard and takes too long.

Well obviously this is not an issue if you're halfway to/or almost 102, never lvled up genies and never got any lvl 100 skills (those are 4 million sp each)

From 101 to 102 u get what, like 60 mil spirit from the 278 million exp u gain.

And of course i dont do my WQ+ stone anymore, haven't done WQ in over a year. Spend 45 minutes talking to NPCs for 0.2% makes sense b:surrender.

Of course its my fault only for not leveling towards 102/103, but if i known i would be in such urgent need of SP later on i would probably have done it. Im gonna have to gain over a 100 million exp or something silly to get enough sp now if i wanna switch - will take forever <.<

Pretty sure anyone that hit 100 recently cant switch culti either and learn the skills again in terms of sp unless he/she never learned lvl 11 skills in the first place.

i still stick to my point that making a new char is easier/cheaper if u got many or all lvl 11 skills learnd. unless u got gears that cant be put in acc stash and cost to much to get again.

btw sage archer rocks if you know how to play it. my arch still wears 3 tt90 parts and it kicks ****. sorta any1 can play a demon archer but to play a sage archer u need talent b:victory

I have about 30 mil spirit in storage... about 5 9x genies under my name... and have most of the 11 skills learned (the useful one anyways). So its not out of the realm of possibility for me to switch and relearn the 11 skills... pending i have the books.

This is pretty much good advice. With the prices you'd pay getting from sage to demon in terms of SP, you might as well build a new toon. Gear is what is the difficult bit. Perhaps you should try making another toon?

...or embrace the awesomeness of sage archer.
