If you are rich enough to get excellent equipment or diligent enought to spent your time in dungeon, try ur best to be a pure-DEX BM, fot the STR? it is enough if you can just equip the Axe/Hammer. why Axe/Hammer? using the Axe/ Hammer u can use an extra stun skill.trust me, I have tried a lot of times and even tested in some private sever, and finnaly got that pure-DEX BM is the most neat one especially at a higher level. However, You should to know how to properly use the stun skills ,especially the order of using your skills when pvp.
A pure-DEX BM is just like an assassin, he quikly kills and then runs away... he has high damage and high dodge(Do remember high dodge is very important for BM) but low defense(high dodge can offset some off your low defense).
your should have two sets of jewelry when you reach a high lvl(90)(one is of high physical defense and high dodge, one is of high magic defense.)
Now consider if you are just 60 lvl, you main weapon should still be Axe/Hammer,which is to make you lvl up quickly.Your main goal is to lvl up. There are also some daily routines to get a lot of experience and money. Try to bid your equipment of extra-stats. Don't think about how to strenghthen your equipement untill you got 90 lvl, at which lvl you should have a Polearm.when Pvp, you should learn to change your weapons quicky. the process of fighting:(the ultimate mode--- all your stun skills are at the highest level )

stun A(6seconds)---->hit--->hit

It is easy if you know how to finish the quests efficiently. after you got level 70, grinding time is coming if you wanna level up quicly. one BM and one healer are perfect team to level up quicly and to make money by gathering the mobs and kill them.(magic mobs are not your choice.) there are a lot of places (i don't know the english names.) for these that of different lels to do so.(level under 60 is not suggested to do this.)
Three ways to become a richer.
1: gathering materials that drop from the BOSSes in FB&dungeons with your team.
2: To be a professional miner.(i used to be one. It is a non-stopping work, u need to accurately calculate the reemergency time of minerals and follow a secret path. try to not sell them, the higher ur level is, the more important these materials are. my best record was about 10,000,000gold per five hours

If you have enough STR for axes, then you are not pure Dex. In fact if you are pure Dex you can't use any of the BM weapons.
Pure Dex BM is not like an Assassin. Assassins get their damage from Dex, while BM gets damage from STR. For a BM to kill quick, he needs STR.
High dodge is never important for a BM, and it definitely can't offset low defense, especially if you PvP where everyone and their non-caster grandmothers have +Acc rings.

LA BM with axes is the funniest concept I've ever heard...

The mana that is wasted on the stuns, i'd rather use on sutra and shadowless kick.

For magic mobs just shadowless and normal hits until dead. For non magic mobs get physical defense ornaments and use physical marrow and normal fist hits. When you get under half HP just use diamond sutra. Grinding with a BM is so easy why make it more complicated than it has to be?

And for the dodge I have to agree: It's not important at all but nice to have. 20% dodge when AOE grinding is certainly a nice bonus but not something i would rely on.
