V-sync

Can anyone tell me what this does? I thought I had the audio bug glitch but after discovering tech faq 43 and how to turn sound on in-game the software runs good. So I now can run the game after setting everything to optimize (patcher) and default (in-game) as long as I turn off v-sync. This appears to be the main problem I was having with crashing.

V-sync is used primarily for CRT monitors to sync the refresh rate of the game with that of your monitor. On flatscreen monitors, it's largely useless.==/Senior QA Lead/==
