I want to know what lvl you are supposed to be to get a mount. I also want to know where can you get a mount?

    Most mounts are cash shop items, and can be used at 40 or 60 depending on mount, or at 20 if spurred (not all mounts can be spurred.)

    There are just a couple of mounts available in-game, otherwise you have to buy from the cash shop or other players.

    In addition to mounts (ground transportation) there is aerogear. Winged elves start out with wings (whodathunkit), all other races can get "free" (for the cost of some in-game items) aerogear at level 30. (Winged elves can also get a different set of wings at 30.) Cash shop aerogear's required level varies (check description) and the top speed of aerogear can be increased by using wind widgets.

    If you want a ground mount, youll have to buy one either from the cash shop, or another player. Be warned however, that you will have to spend a LOT of coin to buy a mount from a player. And i dont mean 200k or so (i cant even begin to tell you how many times someone has offered 200-300k for my panther in Arch). Most mounts run for around 2-3 mil, MINIMUM.

    As for the aerocrafts (flying items), you can play the Elf race, and can fly from the get go, or lvl to 30, and get a free (tho VERY slow) aero from the Elder of Archosaur after completeing the required quest. If you want to buy a better aero, again, youll have to buy it from either the cash shop, or a player. Be prepared to spend around 1 mil for the most basic, non-upgraded cash shop aeros. And the prices just go up from there.

    There are two horses you can buy from the pet manager (for more than 2 mill), and two (not sure if same two) you can get for dragon orders from the dragon quest herald.

    But other than those, all ground mounts are boutique bought, were found in boutique bought packs, or were given as anniversary gifts to the players who played at launch.

    The 2 mounts you purchase from the pet manager in Arch are most definately NOT worth the 2 mil price tag, seeing as you could use that coin to get a better mount from a player who has a CS mount. I dont know anythin about the DQ mounts, as ive never gotten one.

    Panthers and Polar Bears are pretty inexpensive if you think about it... I just bought a panther off the auction block for a small 900,000 coins. thats not a huge amount compared to the over 5million coin mounts. (i spurred mine because im only lvl 26)

    you can buy a horse from the pet master or get a better mount from the auction and the lowest lvl req is 20 i think
